Decentralise and Thrive

“We’re told we have a government by popular consent. At least in one sense that’s true. Every government always exercises the maximum amount of power its rulers feel the people will stand for without revolting. If this government—or an element within it—is drastically increasing its use of power, then the leaders either feel they have the popular support—or apathy—to get away with it, or they’re taking desperate chances because they’re being pressed to the wall.”
― J. Neil Schulman, Alongside Night

This afternoon as I begin writing this essay, I am feeling ill. Dry cough, fever, head congestion. Doing my best with it. Most likely won’t attend meeting for worship tomorrow to limit who gets what I might have, in the event this crud is contagious. If I get too tired and stop adding links, you’ll just have to go search on your own. Try DuckDuckGo, which, although it interacts with Google, tries to safeguard your IP address for you.So, the topic is networks for decentralisation. A few months ago, God told me in prayer to start a freedom cell here in Eureka Springs. If you have not been, you should probably visit and look into attending their virtual gathering later this month. The Freedom Cells groups are decentralised, there is no hierarchy to join, just get together with people you know and go where you wish. Freedom Cells was started by author Derrick Broze and my friend John Bush. I think that John and I first met in 2009 or so at a Campaign for Liberty event in the Kansas City area. If you recall, the Campaign for Liberty was started by the Ron Paul team after the GOP stole the primaries in the 2008 election and prevented Ron from winning in, e.g., Louisiana and other early-ish states.

Now, why, you may freely ask, did I get involved in the 2008 and 2012 Ron Paul campaigns for president? Why did I campaign for him in states like South Carolina, North Carolina, Wyoming, Kansas, Missouri, and elsewhere? You’ll be able to find any number of places in my writings where I directly quote my friend Claire Wolfe saying, “America is at that awkward stage. It is too late to fix anything by working within the system, and it’s still too early to just shoot the bastards.” That is found in her book 101 Things to Do Until the Revolution Gets Here. She wrote that in 1995, and roughly 2006 said it was no longer too early. And I agreed with her in 1995. After all, my rude awakening to the tyranny of the state came in the second month of 1991.

Thus, the Ron Paul campaign and the Campaign for Liberty were, for me, not at all about giving artificial respiration to a corpse. The corpse of the American republic has been stinking worse and worse since roughly 1868 (Texas v White, e.g.) and was clearly smelly enough in December 1860 that states began to secede. Rather, the Ron Paul campaign, the Campaign for Liberty, and similar, were all about networking with freedom minded people.

One of the groups that I encountered as a result of that work was Catherine Bleish’s Liberty Restoration Project which she started with, amongst others, Tracy Ward and Alan Kent. You may remember Alan from my essay last week on the Coup in Dallas book review.

In the years since then, I’ve gone to AnarchoVegas (met G. Edward Griffin there) and other events. Met Derrick Broze in 2018 (if I recall correctly) at the Jackelope Freedom Festival in Arizona. Met Stefan Molyneux and others in New Hampshire in 2011 at Porcupine Freedom Festival. Met Ernie Hancock way back in 2002 at FreedomSummit in Arizona. Ernie was at Mike Swatek’s non-event Midfest.infothis past 10th month, and that is a semi-annual event (it happens in 4th and 10 th month every year) for those looking for an eastern Oklahoma Ozarks gathering of freedom enthusiasts.

Recently, I was told by God to sign up to the Arkansas assembly. That is an effort to admit that the corporation government is tyranny and attempt to restore the original constitutional republic. I am doubtful of its ability to succeed, but God works in powerful ways. They are all good people.

Also you will find people who were talking about individual sovereignty way back in the 1990s at groups like Sons of Confederate Veterans and the League of the South. Another network that I encountered on my recent journeys is Foster Gamble’s Thrive Networkwhich hosts Freedom Portal events. These are mostly online, though I gather there have been some in person events. Foster is an heir to the Proctor and Gamble fortune. He created a film, Thrive, back in 2012, talking about freedom and free markets. Thrive 2 came out about 2018 or 2019, I gather. My friends Bob and Paula FriWalker host a viewing of the Freedom Portal at their home in Fayetteville a couple times a month or more.

The freedom cells in Northwest Arkansas have formed the Arkansas Guardians of Freedom. There has been talk of a Freedom Guards Academy. I am, as I’ve mentioned, working on a business plan for the which may be able to help with your need to detox from the poison jabs, in the event you’ve been jabbed, or help your friends if someone you know has been jabbed. There are also network technologies online. and seem to be dedicated to giving conservatives places to talk where they are not censored. I have not yet been booted from nor from but I feel they are going to do so in the fullness of time. is really good, and built by crypto-anarchists Kingsley and Erin Edwards. Gettr seems to be a project of the same guy who has founded the Federal States of China in defiance of the tyranny of the Chinese communist party.

Every once in a while, I get in touch with people involved in the old Libertarian Party. I used to attend their conventions, but they have been so abusive about their nominations process that I gave that up. Nevertheless, I still communicate with quite a few from that world. You’ll find them at their events and conventions.

You can tell that a technology upsets the status quo tyrants when they make a global move to ban it. Telegram is an app that claims to offer encryption. I’m not sure it does. It is being attacked for not silencing alternative voices. I gather it is founded by Arab emirate sorts, or Qatari or similar, so there may be a while before it gets reined in, if ever. I am on many Telegram freedom groups. There is a whole set of “we won’t get jabbed” groups including recently booted military who help one another find work.

Here in the pages of this online zine, two noteworthy groups were started. Back in 2000 or 2001, I forget which, Jason Sorens wrote a letter to the editor inviting people to join the Free State Project. Some time after 2005 it became clear that it would be a New Hampshire project and some people started Free State Wyoming under the leadership of Ken Royce (aka Boston T. Party). Good people. I gather our friend Susan Callaway who lived on some land near Newcastle, Wyoming, when last I saw her, has passed away. If so, she will be missed, may she rest in peace, amen.

Roughly Autumn 2018 Sonora Jack and his friends sent in an essay called Caledonia Beckons. It references a tribe of humans that you can find in various places.

Back in 2017, I found out that my spiritual home is among the Quakers. You’ll find that for a religion having only about 300,000 members, they have meeting houses in many places here and there. You’ll find some of them very concerned about social justice, but as they were instrumental in running the underground railways of the 19th Century, you should probably be aware of them. If you need help, you’ll find Quaker meeting houses are places to find help and helpers. The same is true of groups like St. Vincent de Paul charities. I do not regard Salvation Army nor Good Will Industries in a positive light, but your mileage may vary.

After the minor miracle that occurred for me in Waynesville Ohio on the 20th day of the 10th month of 2019, I began to be sent to the passage in Micah chapter two wherein it is written that “this place is not your rest” and the ground has been polluted against you. In the Summer of 2020, my new next door neighbour came through the back gate and poisoned the ground in my garden, I gather on suspicion that some plants there were poison ivy. Three different sorts. I dunno. But I did get the message through my head, put my things in storage and headed West.

Since arriving here in the Ozarks, I have been made aware of many other networks. There are many intentional communities in this area. There are many freedom enthusiasts here about. And the Ark Haven Sanctuary web site says that there are five areas in the United States which were shown to five different men who were sent, by the Holy Spirit, to Chicago. They met, never having known one another, in a hotel lobby, sat down, and showed the maps to one another.

Those areas are in northern Vermont, New Hampshire, and Western Maine; in Kalispell area of Montana; in the West of Colorado near the Utah border; here in the Ozarks; in the Appalachians in Kentucky and Tennessee (look for Roan Mountain, e.g.). We are in a war. We’ve been betrayed by those in power. I gather they want tens of millions of Americans and two or three billion worldwide to be dead as soon as possible. I believe God does not agree to their work. So, find networks. Or found networks. Don’t worry about who is in charge. Think about how you can help, who you can work with, where you can be safer. Get out of the big cities (see Revelation 18, it says to get out of Bablyon and not partake of her poisons and punishments), and get uphill into places with mountainous terrain. What is a big city? Anything with more than a million population. If one county has a million population or more and you live in that county, consider moving. Move away to a place beyond the nearest water. See Joel Skousen on Strategic Relocation.

Why go beyond the nearest big water (river, lake, etc.)? Because many people fleeing a city will stop there and have drinking water, fish for food, and make a mess for a few weeks or months before moving on. The survivor types will move on, many others, well, won’t.

I gather the FDIC has recently been taken over by some very bad sorts and may begin forcing banks to close the bank accounts of people like me. I gather the National Credit Union Association has not, so you may want a credit union account, instead. I also gather that there may be more violence, not only in the cities but in the countryside, based on recent exercises by the USA military in Appalachistan.

Let me tell you something about religious people. If they read the books and understood the words, they know that Jesus and many others say not to be mean to people who are not of the same faith. So if you have no religious preference or prefer not to have one, don’t be averse to contacting religious groups if you need help. If they are doing it right, they won’t let your atheism stop them. And they might have some good ways to help.

Mormon groups, for example, are fairly famous worldwide for encouraging their members to keep a year’s supply of food and water at home. You don’t need to be a Mormon to be helped, though I gather it can be a plus with some.

My purpose here is not to have a religious discussion, but simply to point out that Christians were oppressed two thousand years ago (the Roman state nailed Jesus to the cross, for example) and had hundreds of years of experience hiding in catacombs and keeping their mouths shut. Some still have that same outlook. To quote from a Tom Petty song that was popular in my youth, “You believe what you want to believe, but you don’t have to live like a refugee.”

I believe you have a right to be free, that you were born free, and that you should stay free. I will fight to keep you free, and to go get you out of jails, prisons, and death camps if you end up in such places. So, get in touch. Please.
