There Must Be Payback

I had hoped, by now, to have made my way through my first “Audible” audiobook adventure. I might have made it had I not chosen to start with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s “The Real Anthony Fauci” as my maiden voyage.
Earlier I read Dr. Scott W. Atlas’ “A Plague Upon Our House” which provided an interesting look at the subversion of the White House Task Force on COVID-19. That body was chaired by Vice President Mike Pence, and honestly did nothing at all to change my opinion of him as a weak-kneed tool foist upon President Trump by the typically frightened-by-their-own-shadow republicans that infest the swamp we lovingly call DC.
I was shocked and dismayed at the utter lack of regard for the totality of the impact on the broader picture referred to as “public health” and the dismissal of that impact in the single-minded quest publicly identified as the eradication of COVID-19 but which, in fact, had a much broader and far less “noble” goal for some high-placed public figures and some highly-influential (and now billions of dollars richer) “corporate persons”.
What I read there, however, did not prepare me for the insanely corrupt and very probably criminal behavior of, among others, America’s highest paid bureaucrat, Dr. Fauci, and the parade of lesser lights within the oversight community tasked with the health and safety of the citizens and residents of the United States.
Kennedy’s book is filled with references to peer-reviewed publications (on topics not limited to COVID-19) which are available in the impressive database at The Children’s Health Defense website at this link: https://childrenshealthdefense.org/research-database/?itm_term=home. I recommend a visit.
I’ll cover more when I’ve finished, but let me leave you with this tidbit that I suspect may have had an impact on my own life in more than one incident:
Two well-known, well-proven advance treatments existed (and continue to exist) for COVID-19.
One has been in existence, and was once covered by U.S. Patent No. 2,546,658 which was issued to Surrey and Hammer in 1951–this patent has long since expired–for the treatment of malaria, and may be responsible for the significantly lower rates of infection in areas where it is used prophylactically.
Another, Merck’s patent expired in 1996, has been used in many applications and also appears to have beneficial effects when used as an early treatment. It’s interesting that one has to search outside Google to find much information about these substances beyond the 2019-forward screeching surrounding their “rediscovery”.
I’m not a doctor, I don’t even play one on TV, but I find it interesting that it’s quite difficult to find anything remotely resembling a coherent discussion of the use of these substances, not as cures but as early onset interventions.
Perhaps most interesting is that if it were demonstrated that these preexisting substances could have been used to good effect on early onset COVID-19 cases, it would have been impossible for big pharma to receive Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the mRNA vaccines that Dr. F. and company were hellbent on selling to the United States government, among others, to the tune of billions of taxpayer dollars.
I’m not done with Kennedy’s book yet, and I promise an update in the future.
But all the preceding to the contrary, why were these discussions not carried out in the public arena and in good faith, rather than under not just clouds, but iron boxes, of secrecy? And why was it necessary to attempt to ruin the reputations and careers of anyone of good faith who brought forward evidence that contradicted the money-making machine that is poised to become a several-times-a-year ritual with diminishing returns at each new jab?
The ramifications of what has been done over the last two years are enormous and expansive. The erosion of trust in public institutions (not particularly noticeable among this crowd) in the population at large is significant and must be reconciled with the harm that has been done to individual humans (alive and some now, sadly, dead), small businesses (many of which no longer exist), children (some suffering from significantly delayed human development, many lost to tremendous and in some cases life-ending despair).
There are many issues to unpack: the need to erect an impermeable barrier between science and the corrupting influence of politics and taxpayer resources; the imperative to understand the dynamic that is created by the illicit (and fascistic) partnership that has become the norm in the modern corporate state; the need to erect a similarly impermeable barrier between the state and the education of our children.
We have much to discuss, but this is our country and we need to reclaim it and improve on if not the principles, at least the safeguards, that guarantee we have something of value to pass down to the future.

Lots of very interesting commentary on a variety of topics. I particularly enjoyed Carl and Callum appreciating the treatment of the independent media versus the propaganda arm of the Trudeau government by Trudeau’s gestapo.
Why I think the European (specifically British) perspective is crucial to our conversation.
Empires, as Reinhold Nieburh observed, eventually “destroy themselves in the effort to prove that they are indestructible.” The self-delusion of military invincibility is the scourge that brought down the American empire, as it brought down past empires.
So what is the difference between “the American Empire”, and America? Is the impirical aspect prerequisite to all that America has encouraged, nurtured, and celebrated?
