Letter from William A. Arvola

Dear Editor,

           In #48 of this year, L. Neil Smith posed of George W. Bush the question, "As President, what would you do....?"
           I generalize the question: As President, what would *you* do?
           Would you abolish the EPA by executive order, as it was created?
           Would you order the investigation and prosecution of every "anti-Constitutional" culprit you could think of?
           Would you claim a "moral imperative" to reduce the size of the federal government in the name of Freedom and for the Future of the Children?
           Would you be just another busybody President?
           If I were President, I think I would check that the ink was full in my "veto pen," sit down in a comfy chair, quietly [re]read the Constitution, contemplate Jefferson's words on "governing best," and then maybe take a nap.
