Population Control, Seven Corpses At A Time

           The logic is tortuous, even by victim-disarmer standards: in 1997, George W. Bush signed legislation amending Texas' restrictive CCW laws to allow permit holders to carry weapons into churches. Therefore, according to the gun-grabbers, Dubya is responsible for the recent Fort Worth church shooting.
           Say what?
           Here's the apparent syllogism:
           1) Dubya allows Texans to carry weapons into churches in order to exercise their inalienable right to self-defense.
           2) Nobody in that hapless congregation chose to exercise that right, having apparently absorbed the violent-criminal-friendly message of the National Council of Churches.
           3) Having chosen to abdicate the right of self-defense, as usual the victims died like sheep when some random wacko shot his way into their church and opened up.
           4) It's Dubya's fault.
           As Keanu says: whoa.
           We are told by the London Electronic Telegraph that the striking feat of illogic above - blamin' Dubya - is being propounded in part by none other than Vice President Al Gore.
           That begins to bring it all into focus.
           Folks, Al Gore is a Nazi. That's not hyperbole, it's not a smear, and it isn't wrong. He's a radical environmentalist and socialist who promulgates nature-worship. Those things are also what the National Socialist German Workers' Party stood for. The only significant disagreement between Gore and the Nazis is that Gore has not, publicly at least, blamed Jews for urbanization and hence pollution.
           Indeed, the 'viros whose banner Gore proudly waves between bouts of delusion (or waved before his DNC handlers told him ix-nay on the Unabomber stuff) are far more ambitious than the Nazis. The Nazis intended to kill a whole bunch of people, and did kill a bunch, albeit not nearly so many as Stalin or Mao. But they didn't announce an intention to kill four out of five of all the people on Earth.
           That's what the radical environmentalists want. Eighty percent of everybody: gone. And that's just for starters. The really serious environmentalists are looking to get ninety-five percent or more.
           It's called "sustainable development." The key concept is that the Earth can only "sustain" a population of at most one to two billion. As its share the US might get to keep 50 million - if the 'viros are feeling generous - out of a population of around 273 million.
           So it seems to me it all makes sense. We know from the science of ecology - ironically enough - that populations of predators expand in response to the availability of prey. Armed humans are the poorest kind of prey: only a fool - with which our nations ranks of pundits are plentifully supplied - could deny at this point that any of our recent well-publicized massacres would likely have been stopped well short of their eventual tolls had even one among the intended targets been prepared, physically and morally, to resist. That is: to shoot the bastard, or bastards.
           (I have to say here that it's just too easy for me to imagine the shooter spending the two or three days prior to the assault locked in a room in some government safe house in Texas, dosed crazy with something like methylphenidate - Ritalin - and tortured round-the-clock by guys in dog collars waving Bibles, before being handed a couple handguns and a bunch of magazines and booted from an unmarked van onto the sidewalk in front of the Wedgwood Baptist Church - perhaps by some JTF-6-attached Special Forces op fresh from providing Indonesian Special Forces first-hand instruction in butchering Christians in their own churches, as Kopassus did a couple of weeks before the East Timor referendum.)
           So far our publicity-generating perpetrators have chosen surprisingly well: they have picked hunting grounds whose denizens were disarmed by law (Columbine) or indoctrination in victimhood (pick any, including Fort Worth). Although, to be fair, when a prospective mass shooter - or his handlers - picks wrong and gets whacked right out of the gate..you won't hear about it, except on the Net.
           Oh! Bad me! I'm spreading conspiracy theory again (even though I disbelieve in the viability of conspiracies). Except, it happened a couple months back, when some cluck chose to begin his murder spree at a shooting range in California, collecting a couple of .45 slugs - and no victims - for his pains. But Dan Rather never told you that, so I guess it never happened.
           Back to reality: guns don't cause crime, but victims do cause predators. When the bunny population explodes, you get fox and coyote shrapnel.
           It would be, to say the least, politically unpopular for Al Gore and his co-religionists to order the American people to start marching their children into the gas chambers. It would also be, ahem, somewhat unwise in a nation in which at least 70 million households contain guns.
           So our wise and loving Earth-venerating rulers have, in these mini-massacres, the means to kill two birds with one stone: they can further their ends by generating pretexts under which they can deprive us of our means to resist their dictates.
           And they can directly achieve their desired end of population reduction: five, seven, a dozen at a time.
