THE LIBERTARIAN ENTERPRISE Number 71, May 8, 2000 Nasty, Brutish, and Short Editor's Notes by John Taylor
This week's title (derivatively) seems the perfect answer to the question posed in Article 6 by Vin. We are trying our best to follow the circumstances of the mysterious death of Carlos Ghigliotti; I say "trying" because information is (surprise!) very scarce. Nonetheless, we have people digging at the source, and will apprise you of any new information we uncover. Plus, as mentioned above, this week's issue contains a fine article on the subject from Vin Suprynowicz -- I think you will find it most enlightening.
Here's an idea: we're coming up fast on Issue #76. So, for the "Spirit of '76" edition, we want you, the reader, to vote for the best article to date to appear in TLE. We'll run the top vote-getters in #76. So, vote early and vote often. Send your nominee for best article ever in TLE in the form of an e-mail to [email protected] no later than June 9, 2000. In the subject line, put just the word "contest"; in the body of the e-mail please list the title and author of your favorite; include the issue number, if you know it. Freedom! John Taylor [email protected]
