A number of folks have asked what on Ur-Theta L. Neil Smith was thinking by running a piece by Harry Browne. I should have made clear from the outset that the decision to run Mr. Browne's article was mine alone, neither proposed nor opposed by Mr. Smith. El Neil, gentleman that he is, has never so much as exercised (much less imposed) his power as Publisher while I have been Editor, and for that I am grateful.
Those who might think that running Mr. Browne's article was a bad idea are fully entitled to their opinions. This is just to set the record straight.
