John: One of the users in the Smith2004 mailing list posted this link. This is the Minaret of Freedom Institute, a "free market Muslim perspective on economics, democracy, terrorism, and Middle East conflict." It gives the lie to all the Boot-On-Your-Neck Party propaganda that Islam is either inherently violent, is incapable of understanding the concept of individual liberty, or is inherently "out to get us." It includes such useful essays as "Why Muslims Need Separation of School and State" -- which for all intents and purposes should be altered to read, "Why EVERYONE Needs Separation of School and State." It's a great site, and one that should be spammed to Michael Medved's e-mail address every time the little pinhead starts screaming, "They're out to kill us all!!" with the requisite foaming at the mouth that he seems to enjoy. I urge interested proponents of individual liberty to look at the site rather than simply accept the FedGov's propaganda as truth. Freedom, Immortality, and the Stars!
