Founder's Club

Today in discussions with key members of team Individual Sovereign University, I came up with an idea for a Founder's Club. Yes, Jim Davidson with a great big club to go with the wild hair and the brown hat.

What is the Founder's Club? It is an association of key donors and contributors to the Individual Sovereign University, to our University Association, and sponsors of members of our Sovereign Mutual Aid Response Team.

Who can join? Anyone with money. Membership in the Founder's Club begins at $1,000 and runs up to $1 million. For a million dollars we'll name several fellowships for law students after you, or several campus locations, or major buildings in our repertoire. For a thousand dollars, we'll send you a nice brown coat, with our university and SMART logos on it, a folder full of information, and frequent communications of our thanks. All memberships in the Founder's Club are life time memberships—fire once and forget.

What can we do with $1,000? We can name five people, or let you choose five people, who get "activist" memberships in SMART for one year. So someone you think is doing a good job promoting liberty can be included in our full-scale effort to keep them out of jail, find bail money for them, get them the best legal assistance for their defence, and go on the offence against those who abuse their offices and deny civil liberties to our people. Indeed, more than one, more like five.

What can we do with $10,000? We can buy a house in Kansas City northeast, get it up and running as a community centre, get some community garden or urban farming going on, and provide youth services there. We can sponsor fifty members of our mutual aid response team. Or we can pay the fees for one fellowship student to attend a law school for one semester.

What can we do with $100,000? We can buy land and a house in central Florida, get it operational as a campus, begin teaching classes in cultivation, mycology, and other studies, and operate a rural farm for some years. We can sponsor five hundred members of our mutual response team. Or we can buy land near Peculiar, Missouri and develop a campus facility there. Or we can buy land near Bozeman, Montana for a campus facility. (We recently were offered a graduate programme in architecture featuring "reinforced Anasazi" building methods known nowhere else by a master mason on his ranch near Bozeman.)

What can we do with $1 million? We can build multiple campuses, sponsor thousands of members, help people learn and teach, develop extensive communications networks based on open source and low infrastructure methods, and make a very good start on our agorist delivery service.

Here's another part: Membership recruiters for the University Association can offer their coupon code to prospective members of the Founder's Club to earn a 1% discount for the member and a 20% commission for the recruiter.

The question for you, now, is, what are you waiting for? What would you like to see us do for the money? We're eager to get started.
