Ron Paul Action Figures! I think I'll get one of these and have it dressed for the North American Confederacy. L. Neil Smith
Was that worth reading? I.) Quote: Justice Robert H. Jackson, E. P. Thompson, Edward Bushell "If the prosecutor is obliged to choose his case, it follows that he
can choose his defendants. Therein is the most dangerous power of the
prosecutor: that he will pick people he thinks he should get, rather
than cases that need to be prosecuted. With the law books filled with
a great assortment of crimes, a prosecutor stands a fair chance of
finding at least a technical violation of some act on the part of
almost anyone. In such a case, it is not a question of discovering the
commission of a crime and then looking for the man who has committed
it, it is a question of picking the man and then searching the law
books, or putting investigators to work, to pin some offense on him.
It is in this realm -- in which the prosecutor picks some person whom
he dislikes or desires to embarrass, or selects some group of
unpopular persons and then looks for an offense, that the greatest
danger of abuse of prosecuting power lies. It is here that law
enforcement becomes personal, and the real crime becomes that of being
unpopular with the predominant or governing group, being attached to
the wrong political views, or being personally obnoxious to or in the
way of the prosecutor himself."
II.) This is why I fear the NDAA. This is what it promises: [Two Years Solitary, No Trial] III.) It so happens that from time to time I forward articles to the editor and publisher of TLE. The two latest were a comment on the number of laws and regulations passed, a number so high that at any time anybody anywhere can be arrested for something. All you need is a boss who has it in for you. The second was the URL of an article regarding a man who was locked up in solitary confinement for 22 months without adequate medical or dental care before having all charges against him dropped. Of course he was awarded 22 million dollars. How many people go through this and are buried in potter's fields and are forgotten? The NDAA makes this kind of behavior legal, and more. The first article refers to the government having to fake charges against you. Under the NDAA they don't have to bother. The second points out that the government had to pay compensation for violating a man's rights. Under the NDAA you have no rights to be violated. It's time to vote against every child of a bitch who voted for the NDAA. Vote against them in the primaries, vote against them in the general election. If they are running unopposed write in vote for None of the Above. Even if you have dropped out and quit voting turn out and vote against these traitors. Let the 2012 be a plebiscite making it clear that we reject these people, that that they are considered unfit to hold office, hell that they're unfit to reside in the US. Let there be no doubt when these traitors provoke an "American Spring" they are not this nation's legitimate rulers. A.X. Perez
