The manure spreader at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue says that success is business is not because of our efforts but the results of help which we received form "others".

Seems to me that these "others" are a pretty selective bunch since 80% of all businesses fail. Shouldn't those who fail have some claim on these "others" who caused their failure?

As Bastiat observed in "That which is seen..." The bad economist sees only the immediate good. The good economist also sees the bad.
