Re: "Pain" by L. Neil Smith Sorry about tooth problems, been there done that. Am still doing that. Regarding pain, it is worth noting that Ms. Mortenson was manic depressive, what we call bipolar. In spite of a genius IQ, much higher than her most notorious lover, she was barely able to keep up her work. Having lost loved ones to depression and knowing people who do not enjoy their manic phase but experience it as anger and confusion rather than the ecstatic euphoria others report experiencing, I sympathize. For what it's worth, pain is reported as being less intense in manic phase, more intense in depressive phase. Now I know you're not bipolar or manic, but I wish for you joy that overcomes your pain rather than pain that destroys your joy. On the other hand if Norma Jean Mortenson had not been in pain and handed so many shit sandwiches she would probably gone to college with her 163 plus IQ and become the schoolmarm that attracted men and scandals rather than the actress Marilyn Monroe. Was that worth reading? It's Time! If you take time to check the dollar is in fact hard money. Turns out most dollar bills really have about a buck's worth of cocaine impregnating them (black market prices). So, a dollar is actually worth a dollar. Gun sales have risen so much that in the last year Smith and Wesson stock has risen a bit more than 290%. As long as guns are selling at this rate President Obama dare not push any gun bans, the econmy woud collapse again. On a more serious note (C#) both represent unhealthy conditions. The price of cocaine is inflated by laws against its sale without prescription for recreational purposes creating a black market. The growing sale of firearms does not represent an interest in shooting sports, asserting Second Amendment rights, an urge to collect guns, or even an honest urge to defend oneself. Rather it reflects generalized fear and a desire to acquire potent safety blankets in response to a irrational generalized fear. I get nervous when people act out of being ruled by fear and where my money gets its value from being contraband. I'm not worried about the guns, but I do worry about people being ruled by fear. They might harm someone in a[anicked stampede, like me for i nstance.These are the circumstances the current state and it sycophants have created. It's time to"alter or abolish." A.X. Perez
Was that worth reading? From Nobody So anyhow liberal commentator Sally Kohn spoke the truth, as offensive as it may be "No one gives a shit about Fast and Furious." The Truth is that unless you're an NRA member or other supporter of gun rights, people who Ms. Kohn considers nobody, you don't give a shit. Unless you're somebody who was trusting the American Justice Department to not deliberately arm known criminals, somebody whom I'm sure Ms. Kohl considers nobody, you don't give a shit. Unless it's your kin and friends and neighbors being killed by criminals arme with Fast and Furious weapons, you probably don't give a shit. But you know what Ms. Kohl? The guys whom Fast and Furious armed have moved into your hometown and the other cities controlled by liberal politicians and whose opinions are shaped by your ilk and they've taken the playbook they perfected in Juarez. So when gangs that earn a living selling drugs start recruiting your police to join them by offering them the choice between taking a bribe or a bullet, when your cops are executed for joining the wrong gang, when the doctors and grocers and schools are run out of your inner cities and even suburbs by protection racketeers and the people who were supposed to stop this are in fact empowering them, Nobody won't give a shit. A whole bunch of Nobodies won't give a shit. And I'm not being ungrammtical. It's not that we don't want to care. It's just that we'll be too busy dealing with the problems Fast and Furious created for us. You decided it was Okay to throw us to the wolves. Was that worth reading? Coalescing the other 1% When I consider coalescing the 1%, I'm talking about a whole different 1% than the OWS crowd spews on about. 1 out of 100. There has got to be at least 1 person out of one hundred who shares a viewpoint parallel to mine. Clark county, WA, my little home county, has a population of around 433,000 people. 1 out of one hundred. That's just over 4000 like minded citizens—4 battalions of people who need do nothing more than say "NO" and defend each other when our saying it is not enough. One out of 100. Even if the numbers are one tenth that, four hundred recalcitrant, stubborn, ornery, independent, obstinate, willful, hearty, passionate, loving sons-of-bitches in my little county who declare the withdrawal of their consent could foment a great tipping point in favor of liberty. I am however inclined to believe, based on polling I recently read, that the numbers fall nearly as high as 15% amongst the populace. That would be 64,950 people in a county that is only 656 square miles. We'd be everywhere at once! Even if the numbers are much smaller at first, say 1000 committed people, once it could be seen that we could actually defend each other's liberty whilst leaving our fellow citizens unmolested, I think people will leave the old paradigm behind and join us. Alone I am weak, and sadly cowardly; I know that it would be foolish for I alone to assert my rights and stand up to tyranny, but knowing that 1000+ others like me are on standby to defend each other, I am bold and we are strong.
