An Open letter to the Winner of the 2012 Presidential Election
Attribute to L. Neil Smith's The Libertarian Enterprise I do not expect that you read THE LIBERTARIAN ENTERPRISE. However, I am sure your security busies do for professional reasons, and I am trusting them to pass this on to you out of courtesy. Congratulations, you won. I almost certainly voted against you. For what it's worth, I also voted against the other guy. I will spend the next 4 to 8 years trying to convince myself he would have been worse for the country than you. I find that thought cold comfort. I do not share the opinion of many others that you are the Anti-Christ and Doom of the USA. Neither do I believe you are the Savior of our Nation. If America needs saving the American people can do it with out the interference of political leaders. I hope you do a decent job of getting out of our way or at least not not holding us back. I apologize for the bigotry many of my countrymen expressed towards you and your folk during the election. The comments about Black people, foreigners, and even Moslems were wrong, as were the comments about Mormons. I assure you, those fools did not speak for me. Good luck, don't screw up too badly, and maybe you'll even pleasantly surprise my friends here at THE LIBERTARIAN ENTERPRISE. Was that worth reading?
