Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution --------------- Forwarded Message ---------------
Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention. This will take less than thirty seconds to read. If you agree, please pass it on. This is an idea that we should address. For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they had specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform that passed ... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop. If each person that receives this will forward it on to 15 people, in three days, most people in the United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around. Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:
You are one of my 15. "Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him, better take a closer look at the American Indian."—Henry Ford ====================== Comment by LNS: this needs to apply to state legislators, county commissioners, city councils, and all other such bodies with legislative powers. Was that worth reading? Not Losing Isn't the Same as Winning We didn't win. At best we put off losing. The Manchin-Tooney Bill is there, waiting to be reintroduced. Our enemies have a piece of paper, they know their limits (lay off the ugly guns and big magazines, focus on background checks, deny how this will lead to registration that will lead to confiscation.). Back when, my cousin and I agreed that the PATRIOT Act had been sitting in someone's drawer waing for a pretext to be passe. Manchin-Tooney is waiting in that drawer, ready to be introduced and passed at the next atrocity. Meanwhile, in several states leftists have pushed through laws of abhorable to various degrees. Until these people are recalled (where possible) and/or voted out of office the hoplophobes can claim victory. Only by driving these tyrants from office and overturning their work can it be repudiated. And repudiated it must be, lest our culture lose the meme that guns are needed to defend freedom and that freedom is worth defending. If that occurs the lie that security can be traded esuccessfully to gain liberty will be entrenched. It must be exposed, disproved and repudiated, and getting rid of those who would disarm us, authorize the state to disappear us, and murder us in the name of security without clearly stated charges or fair trial is a good place to start. Finally we didn't win because too many Americans believe gun control is the answer and are too angry by this outcome to think straight. Meanwhile too many people who value gun rights are worked up and angry that their rights were threatened, Unfortunately, too many who hate freedom and who hate the united States of America would use this anger to dismember the USA and turn us into warring factions that sacrifice liberty in their internecine struggles. Was that worth reading? {Re the recent Boston Massacre of the Rule of Law
I hereby insult, denigrate the manhood (and womanhood) of, stain and smear the reputations of, blacken the names of, besmirch and tarnish the repute of, and generally put down and cast aspersions upon—the general populations (minus the dozen or so who had rifles in their hands at home (congrats.)) of Boston and the surrounding towns—most egregiously, and in strict accordance with all of the usual, politically correct, criteria. Ad nausium. There should have been heaps and windrows of the dead, smoldering and reeking carcasses of police and other Mercenary Mass Murderers ((MMM) (and other evil, stinking, vile (and not very nice, either), orc-folk beginning with "M")) littering the streets—along with the burned-out, twisted hulks of armored cars and black SUVs, upside down and emitting final wisps of greasy smoke. And we should now hear the "ka-chunka" of loading presses, echoing across the bay, as they replace the ammo that was expended by Bad-Assed, Pissed-Off, Actual Americans (BAPOAA) in their Righteous and Wrathful Defense of Family, Hearth and Home (RWDFHH). Not to be confused with those Pusillanimous, Cowardly, Craven, Chickenhearted, Dastardly, Faint-Hearted, Gutless, Lily-Livered and Unmanly (and Unwomanly) Prussian Pissants (PCCCDF-HGL-LUUPP) who cowered, Gunless, Brainless, Gutless and Heartless in Their Hovels (GBGHTH) as they waited in quaking dejection to abjectly surrender to the Real Terrorists (P.O.L.I.C.E.) pounding on their doors! SO THERE! But, I pretend to hear you ask, did we hear that beautiful musketry
and later "ka-chunka"?
Ad maxima nausium! Yours in Real Disgust,
P. S.
