It takes a lot to actually get me to write a column these days, but Albert managed to motivate me:

Dear Albert,

Your naivete is disappointing to say the least. You have taken the official Nato line along with the hook and sinker. That atrocities are committed by all sides in civil wars seems to have escaped your notice in the stampede to buy the sappy emotionalism of The Party Line.

The FACTS are these: The USA, via its Nato war machine, organised the dismemberment of Yugoslavia; it used its MSM mouthpieces to misrepresent the subsequent civil war as one of The Evil Serbs Picking On Poor Helpless Everyone Else. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Croatian nationalists slaughtered whole communities without mercy, and Croatia adopted the fascist flag which it flew as an ally of Nazi Germany as the official flag of its 2nd fascist reich. So much for the crap about "attempted genocide" on the part of Serbs (who were being "ethnically cleansed" from their homelands by The Noble Croats), a lie they used again (and why not?—it worked so well the last time) when seizing the province of Kosovo—and the vast wealth of its Trepca mining complex—from Serbia.

Then the hysteria was that, "The Evil Serbs have killed 100,000 Albanians and buried them in Mass Graves!!!" Over 60 forensics teams from the Nato countries combed that tiny province for a year and came up with ZERO "mass graves" (except for several filled with murdered Serbs), yet you and every other dupe sitting passively in front of his telly just conveniently flushed that fact down the old memory hole.

And using the Olympics to score political points, however stupidly well-intended, is an act of propaganda. [Note the current hysteria about the Moscow Olympics being led by George Takei in an attempt to "punish" Russia, with this diversion, for what really irritates the Empire: the granting of temporary asylum to the heroic Edward Snowden.] Katarina Witt obviously knew as little about the actual facts of the Nato-engineered dismemberment of Yugoslavia as you do, but that didn't stop her from being used as a propaganda tool.

When some idiot lets her—or him—self be used by the forces of imperial war in the guise of allegedly being "in favor of peace", that person or persons is/are complicit in the ensuing slaughter. THAT, and your enabling repetition of the agitprop, is what "must be acknowledged" by all those who are mature enough to not be manipulated by syrupy agitprop prepared for the bleating sheeple. "Where Have All The Flowers Gone"... *sniffle*, boo hoo... Well, they've been vapourised by Nato bombs, kiddies.

The next time you want to have a good cry, try informing yourself first: it's not as easy as just passively parroting the Nato (war)Party Line, but it's waaaaaaaay more accurate.

Blind acceptance of the imperial lies is the best help that can be given to the imperial warmongers and their bankster backers in their unending opposition to...
