Attribute to L. Neil Smith's The Libertarian Enterprise

"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny."—Thomas Jefferson

"Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then, be trusted with the government of others?"—Thomas Jefferson, 1801 inaugural address

"When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty."—Thomas Jefferson

"Still, you'll hear voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that's the root of all our problems, even as they do their best to gum up the works; or that tyranny always lurks just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, creative, unique experiment in self-rule is just a sham with which we can't be trusted!"—Barack Obama, May 16th 2013-

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."—Thomas Jefferson

Barack Hussein Obama or Barry Sortero if you prefer, is a cancer-ridden, leper of a leader and a prime example of a mind turned against his fellow man. He is no progressive. He is not enlightened and neither are his supporters. What he actually advocates is a total regression of the human race back towards the time when government wasn't considered a servant but was considered a master.

"...; or that tyranny always lurks just around the corner. You should reject these voices..."

HOLY SHIT-BALLS BATMAN!!! Wow! REALLY?!?! Any man that can utter this statement with a straight face in the era of Ruby Ridge, Waco, 9/11,"weapons of mass destruction/ Iraq", "fast and furious" Wiki leaks/ Bradley Manning" and the NSA spying on all of us, is either a dangerous lunatic or a calculating despot worthy of tar and feathers at the minimum!

I can't decide if America is committing national suicide or if we are being slowly poisoned by a murderous spouse who has decided that their promise of taking care of us in sickness and health is no longer in their interest. America was founded by men who fought, killed maimed and died for freedom, liberty and justice. It wasn't fought by men who wanted government in every corner and aspect of their life. The entire Constitution is marked by signs of concern and fear of government tyranny. The entire Bill of Rights are specific preclusions on government. It isn't really a Bill of Rights as much as it is a "no trespassing" sign for politicians, bureaucrats and cops.

America was NOT supposed to be about "social security" it wasn't supposed to have a "federal reserve" (even the bald guy from "Pawn Stars" is onto the FED) and we aren't supposed to be the UN and Israel's bitch. American soldiers weren't/ aren't supposed to be killing people in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq or Syria. (I mention but a few...)

One mustn't be a Libertarian like myself (although it helps) to call oneself a patriot; or to consider oneself "proud to be an American." But before one can meet either of the before mentioned criteria one MUST understand that those utterances by "our commander in chief" are despicable obscenities directed at the very nature of this country.

And looking through his point of view—it seems un-likely he is going to fit in.)
