There I was minding my own business (stop laughing, dammit) when I saw a sign in a classroom teachers door. "Please Return tomorrow." (The teacher had put it up about half an hour after school was done for the day.)

My first paranomasiac thought was, "But I didn't take it." My second thought was, "this would make a great slogan on a protest sign for kids to wave in front of the state capitol." I know most of you are opposed to state financed education, but as long as we are stuck with it it is important that kids practice defending their rights supporting educational reform or opposing educational "reform."

"Please return our tomorrows."

Please get out of the way so that we can have a working space program, true racial equality instead of institutionalized racism, plentiful cheap energy, 150 year healthy lifespans, the ability to walk down any street any time, in safety.

Mr. President, Mr. Speaker, please get the hell out of the way so we can build our tomorrows instead of taxing and regulating them out of existence.

You damn gonifim, please return our tomorrows!
