The Democrats are complaining that the Russians hacked the 2016 elections and somehow unduly influenced the outcome. Of course, if there had been nothing slimy to expose the Russians (or whoever) would have had nothing to hack.
I am reminded of a certain great and shameless liberal Democrat out of Missouri. One of his campaign slogans was “Give ’em hell, Harry,” to which Harry S Truman claimed to reply:
“I never gave anybody hell! I just told the truth and they thought it was hell.”
