I grit my teeth and watched Mr. Trump's first speech to Congress Tuesday night. In the well developed pol tradition, he promised everything to everyone. For free of course.

The awesome sweep of his promises is likely a world record. But just in case he's actually serious, he could learn from his successor on "The Apprentice"——
