Attribute to L. Neil Smith’s The Libertarian Enterprise
There is a hero. When he is in the Christian heaven Michael, Martin, and Sebastian stand at attention for him and even God’s jaw drops in awe, if he wonders into Valhalla the Einherjar salute him. His deed did not earn him good karma, being him is the reward for having earned good karma.
At age 4 years old Xander Vento died saving a 3 year old little girl from drowning back in 2012. People give up their lives for others all the time, of course. Still, there is something especially noteworthy about a such a young child making such a perfect act of self sacrifice.
Every now and then our would be leaders trot out someone engaging in an activity that was controversial back when but is supported by the establishment now and call him/her a hero. The left is especially good at this. So I thought I’d take time to point out a real hero and remind people what real heroism is.
And also honor a kid who sets the standard of heroism for all of us.
