I'm going to depart from my usual policies regarding what I publicly post on Facebook and reveal some details about my current life situation.

Any comments that are either expressions of sympathy or expressions of enjoyment of my predicament WILL BE DELETED.

Neither am I asking for advice. Comments offering advice likewise WILL BE DELETED.

Since December 3, 2018 I have been in litigation against the bank—and its appointed representatives and successors—which held my mother's mortgage on the house we lived in together before she passed away in 2012, and which I've lived in since her passing. The issues were many and complex and while the house was foreclosed on and sold at auction on December 11, 2018, it was my legal contention that this foreclosure and sale at a non-judicial Nevada foreclosure and auction was done fraudulently and in criminal violation of Nevada law.

The buyer—a Utah based real estate corporation—filed an ajoinder to the other defendants' motions to dismiss including the Arizona-based company that had committed the fraud.

If anyone wants to look up the case file it can be found at The Fifth Judicial District Court of the County of Nye, State of Nevada, Case No. CV39780. It's public record.

Yesterday the final ruling was issued. The defendants motions to dismiss were granted, ending my case and any hope I had of unwinding what I contended was an illegal sale and the return of the house, which is my sole residence.

In a lawsuit filed against me for unlawful residence in the house filed by the buyer I will be required to be out of my only home since 2008 by noon on May 31st.

I have no current Plan B. No place to move to. Nobody to help me pack a houseful of family belongings, business assets, career archives, and inheritance of personal belongings from my parents.

I might have had more cash assets hadn't I spent the money on a lawyer to help me keep the house.

I'm not going to start a crowd funding. (If someone who's not a fraud wants to, feel free.) What I really need is someone with significant investment capital to decide that one of my books, or scripts, or stories, has enough potential publication or film/series development value to option or set into production one of these projects.

I've been selling access to much of these materials as The J. Neil Schulman Signature Collection. Other screen stories have been circulated and submitted from PDF files kept on my notebook computer.

I've paid ahead for about five years on my essential web domains and service providers. My websites aren't going away anytime soon. Neither will my YouTube videos. Neither will my email addresses.

But I don't know where I'll be and what condition I'll be in. I have disabilities and medical conditions which I control with two prescription medicines and a variety of over-the-counter supplements. I won't bore you with my mobility challenges.

If you want to do something about the situation described here, again, DO NOT POST SYMPATHY MESSAGES. I don't want these any more than I want the shadenfreude from my well-earned political enemies.

But if you fall into some Venn Diagram of someone who likes my work and has six-figure or seven-figures to develop or produce a film or series or other major media premised on my work, please get in touch with me while I'm still in one piece. One thing for certain is that I don't have any fans in Hollywood.

If you do know someone who fits into a category of being pro-libertarian, pro-science-fiction, pro-Prometheus-Award-winner, pro indie filmmaker, and very rich, feel free to forward this to them. Getting past locked doors is my point in going public.
