Of Blue Eyes and Bambi
by L. Neil Smith
A couple of weeks ago, The Libertarian Enterprise published an article I wrote called "I Told You So", about a young Tallahassee, Florida woman who was ordered by her doctor, a state's attorney, and a judge to remain in a hospital against her will because they had all decided that the fetus she was carrying possessed more rights than she does. The action was taken despite a privacy clause in the Florida constitution that recognizes an individual right to refuse medical treatment.

The Campaign for "Liberty"
by Jim Davidson
It looks like the people running Campaign for "Liberty" are no longer committed to non-intervention. They have endorsed through their Colorado branch a virulent war monger named Ken Buck. Their senate candidate in Connecticut, Peter Schiff, says he would bomb Iran given "credible evidence" that they are building a nuclear weapon. Their senate candidate in Kentucky, Rand Paul, was just endorsed by neo-conservative Sarah Palin, and says he wants to continue the war in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Ron Paul pretends his arm has been twisted by the Texas GOP to endorse all the incumbent Republicans in Texas.

An Optical Illusion
by Rob Sandwell
I wanted to share something perfectly delightful with you. See that? It's an optical illusion. This is an honest to god picture I took of an elementary school sign in my hometown.

Conspiracy Movie Reviews for the week of Feb 14, 2010
by Roy L. Fox

Zeitgeist Addendum Time 1:59—This is the eagerly awaited sequel to Zeitgeist, which was reviewed earlier. It is a slick and professional production like its predecessor. But instead of building on the earlier film, Zeitgeist Addendum just leads the viewer out of one false paradigm and into another. Part I begins with another powerful segment on the fraudulent Federal Reserve System. While stumbling through a few factual errors, the message is still very powerful. In Part II, "Economic Hit Man" John Perkins discusses his former role in conducting economic warfare against many third world nations. If a country's leaders aren't corruptible, they are taken out. If that doesn't succeed, then the US military is called in under false pretexts as happened in Iraq. Perkins delivers his story masterfully and doesn't push all the Socialist baggage one finds in his books.

US Government Abdicates
by Jim Davidson
Yes, it has suddenly occurred to me that there is a current and complete abdication of government. The United States of America has abdicated government, placing us outside its protection, and is making war against us. Anarchists, anarcho-capitalists, voluntaryists, agorists, libertarians should all rejoice. There's no need to overthrow the government, the government has abdicated power over us.
