“Gun control is the idea that it’s better to see a woman dead in an alley, strangled
with her own pantyhose, than to see her with a gun in her hand.”—T.D. Melrose

@Condoleezza: Weapons of War
(The Feature Article)

When Seconds Count....
When Seconds Count....

Military weapons in civilian hands are for
preserving civil rights and civilian lives.
They are, indeed “weapons of war”: humanity’s
10,000-year-old continuing war against tyranny.

Thought you’d like to know, Rupert old cabbage, that whenever your cryptoliberal hirelings on FOX News, particularly in the mornings and on weekends, start pimping for gun control, I change the channel. I have several thousand readers I advise to do the same thing. I wish they were millions, but they’re what I’ve got. Keep going and you’ll turn FOX into another CNN. Or is that what you want?

@Condoleezza: Weapons of War
by L. Neil Smith
You know, Condoleezza, I used to think that you are intelligent, properly-educated, and kind of cute. Now, after the incredibly idiotic remark it was reported that you made last weekend (“I don’t understand why civilians need to have access to military weapons.”) I have some serious doubts. I still have trouble believing you are that stupid, or that ignorant of American and world history, so it’s fairly clear that this failure on your part is thought-out and deliberate, and that you are one of the bad-guys.

Europe: A Simplification of the Issues
by Sean Gabb
One of my readers has asked for my opinion on the draft treaty of withdrawal from the European Union. Since I have not read its 120 pages, and since I have no wish to read them, I am in no position to comment. Or perhaps I am just more honest than most of those who are commenting. Whatever the case, I will not comment. Instead, I will give a general view of what seems to be happening.

Open Letter to the Student Activists of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School
by Sean Gangol
Before we get to any unpleasantries, I want to say that my heart goes out to those who were killed or injured by the disturbed young man who took it upon himself to shoot indiscriminately at the students and staff members of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. For Coach Aaron Feis who gave his life to save others and people like Colton Haab who acted courageously while under fire, I salute you. I am sorry that many of you will have to endure the trauma of this event for many years to come. Nobody should have to go through the nightmare of feeling helpless like many of you did on that very day. Contrary to what the media or the left-wing institutions organizing your protests say (I know you guys aren’t doing this alone), there is no easy fix. Yet, there are precautions that we can take, which I will discuss more towards the end of the article.
