WHO: Friends of L Neil Smith
WHEN: July 2, 2022 from 4 p.m. until dusk (if you show up early, we’ll put you to work)
WHERE: Spring Creek Park, Fort Collins, Colorado
Please join us for a celebration of the life of L. Neil Smith, Science Fiction Author, and Friend of Liberty. We will be providing picnic food (hot dogs, burgers, cold cuts) and beverages (water, soda, lemonade, iced tea). No alcoholic beverages are allowed inthe park, but there are multiple brewpubs to choose from.
Bring blankets, chairs, and acoustic instruments. if you choose. There will be a small pavilion, and lots and lots of grass. There are nice walking/bike trails in Fort Collins, and Spring Creek Trail runs right through the park.
There will be an opportunity for remarks, but mostly this is an opportunity for conversation and planning for the future.
We hope to see you there, and we apologize for the short notice. If you can’t make it this time there will be other opportunities.
