         This edition is a follow-up to our "Anytown, USA" edition on the Littleton media bathosfest. We received so many insightful letters and other thoughts in response that we decided to devote a second edition to them, and to some articles that came in after deadline.

         We cannot lay claim to any miraculous insights as far as the feral government's reaction goes. It was all too predictable. The Emperor Bill performed as expected and failed to disappoint, as did the usual cast of nefarious characters with whom he surrounds himself during times of political hay-making. But nobody anticipated scenes such as this (at least publicly):

"No one has showed up at Kimball wearing a black trench coat or threatening to blow up the school. But, Knapp said, students are still streaming into her office to report peers they think may be dangerous -- based on appearance or reclusive behavior.

Knapp said she talked with every student who was brought to her attention, and called the parents. In some cases, counseling was recommended.

Threats are always reported to police, but even nonthreatening talk about weapons is now reportable, as in the case of Chris Cooley. Ferndale officials said police will be alerted."

         The reaction, both in terms of repression and of "copycatting" has been, shall we say, impressive. As you'll see, some elitists want us dead. The rest just want further restrictions on our ability to make them nervous.

         We here at The Libertarian Enterprise have devoted a significant percentage of our life's effort to making them want us dead and making them nervous. We will not relent, nor will we falter. We will prevail.
