Number 52, July 31, 1999
"A libertarian is a person who believes that no one has the right,
under any circumstances, to initiate force against another human
being, or to advocate or delegate its initiation. Those who act
consistently with this principle are libertarians, whether they
realize it or not. Those who fail to act consistently with it are
not libertarians, regardless of what they may claim."

Editor's Notes

Originally, I had planned some scathing comments on the death of the
much-beloved-by-the-media John-John. But I've decided to leave the
bathotic commemoration to just the title of this issue and be done
with it.
I would like to extend my special thanks to Joseph Farah for allowing
me to reprint his excellent article, TRUST THE GOVERNMENT? If you
haven't done so already, check out WorldNetDaily at
http://www.worldnetdaily.com
Though conservative at its base, the
daily contains numerous articles that are libertarian in nature,
including: an always-excellent exclusive column by the lovely and
talented Claire Wolfe; exclusive columns from Alan Bock; and special
offerings from Lew Rockwell, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, and some
truly dangerous-sounding fire-breather named Suprynowicz. Check it
out!
