Cultural Genocide

Ladies and gentlemen, we are in a war, a war, which just like Iraq, is undeclared, and unconstitutional. Also like the war in Iraq, those who are innocent of any wrongdoing are the ones who suffer most in this war. This war is against a culture, a way of life, a mind set that many in our nation's capitol can not understand. This war I am speaking of is no less than a cultural genocide. This war is aimed at the total destruction of freedom and individuality in the United States.

Under the aegis of the war on terror, the fools, scoundrels and cowards in Washington have passed several totally unconstitutional and illegal laws, laws which violate every principle of our history, culture, and political system. These include the so-called Patriot Act, the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Act, and the Intelligence Reform Act.

I know that many will consider this exaggeration, especially with the proliferation of the CCW laws around the country. Unfortunately, in my opinion, these are nothing more than band-aids on a sucking chest wound! Best case, they will perhaps somewhat delay the inevitable police state we are headed toward. At worst, they will provide a ready data-base of whom to round up and imprison, when the time comes.

Why do I say a police state is inevitable? Look at the security for the recent inauguration. Yes, we are at war, a war we started. Yes, there are people who would gladly cause chaos, if they could. But how is that enough to conceivably justify millions of dollars spent on security, when there are absolutely no threats?

No, the security at the inauguration was nothing more than the old May Day parades that used to be held in Red Square in Moscow, an unabashed show of force, attempting to overawe any who don't agree with the person who occupies the Oval Office.

This person has used a foreign threat to attempt to justify his unconstitutional use of arms around the world, and to also attempt to justify his next foreign adventure. I'm not sure what that will be, yet, but I'm sure there will be one. He is attempting the old tactic of using an outside threat to unite the people, and to justify his actions. Unfortunately, this country is too polarized for that to work this time. Twenty years ago, it would have worked. Not now.

The net effect of the laws I mentioned above has been to increase the police power, without making any increase in effectiveness against terrorism. These laws have stifled freedom of speech and dissent, over-turned the Bill of Rights, and established the foundation of a police state. In my opinion, and based on the writings of the Founders, the fact that this has happened is more than justification enough to void the contract which each state agreed to as part of the conditions of joining the Union.

At this point in time, and unless there is a major change on the part of the current administration, I see nothing but bleak times ahead for those of us who love freedom, or are individualistic in thought and deed. What will the future bring? I don't know, but most of the branches I can see are bad. Police state, civil war, social chaos, any or all of these are possible. I strongly urge those of you who can to join together with like minded people for your defense and security. Join one of the Free State Projects, or if you don't want to go that public, form a small community of libertarian minded folks, or move to a location that already has a goodly number of freedom minded people, such as Wyoming, Montana, or others I'm sure each of you could name. Now is not too early, and may already be too late.

As always, I encourage each and everyone of you to do the research, check out the facts. Consider the similarities between what this administration is doing and what happened in Nazi Germany back in the 1930s. Never, ever take my unsupported word for anything, and still less that of any government or media official. When the fecal matter hits the rotary air impeller, it is up to you, and only you, to provide for yourself and those you care for.
