There really are only two political parties.

The socialists (those who advocate socialism) and the libertarians.

To define socialism I am going to use a very wide brush, L Neil's zero aggression principle. A socialist is anyone who believes that the individual is the property of the state and that there are no rights that are protected by the constitution or anything else. They believe that they can legislate anything. Having said this be aware that there are different degrees of socialism from the constitution party to the communist party they all have this same core belief, you are the property of the state. Your only right is to do as you are told.

The zero aggression principle is clear to all except those who deny it's validity, so I have developed a corollary to it. Every law without exception that regulates peaceful activity not only violates the zero aggression principle it also violates our freedom from religious laws which is supposed to be protected by the 1st amendment of our federal constitution and also our state constitutions.

No matter what the peaceful activity is if it is regulated someone's morals/beliefs/religion have been deemed superior to someone .else's. Socialism is the official American state religion but because no one claims it as a religion people fail to see these laws as being religion enacted into law. Wake up!

Americans have gone crazy it is our job to throw cold water on them in the hope of bringing them back to there senses. It is time to be clear that we are dealing with the religion of socialism no matter what they try to call themselves liberal, progressive, etc..

They have tried to eliminate the 1st amendment's protection of religion by permitting discrimination against wiccans. Today they have found the Muslims to be a better catalyst for destroying the constitution. If they can say that muslims should be denied the protection of the constitution, you can see that who's next on their list.

Pardon me but I hear Parson Niemoeller:

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—
      because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
      because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
      because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
      because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me—
      and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Socialism is a religion of death and destruction from Sparta to America the religion of socialism is still marching on.

Re: "Letter from Wendy McElroy"

Well, this is a bummer. Don't spend a lot of time with Fox News, myself. But I have enjoyed WM's columns.

Good luck to you, Wendy! Hope your column finds continued success.

Might need to go back to writing TLE columns myself instead of leaving it to the professionals. But last time, that whole fame, fortune and groupies thing never worked out as promised. ;-)

Please resume writing for TLE! Maybe the FF&G just take time?—Editor

Way back when I was reading my shiny new copy of the graphic Probability Broach, I showed a picture of peaceful college students strolling the campus (while packing serious blades and ordnance) to my significant other. She asked why they were armed. I explained that the kids were armed because it was unacceptable for anyone to prevent it. I also pointed out (as I have a million times before) that if people are armed they don't have to let bad guys hurt them, and they won't let bad guys mess with anyone else either.

In reply, I got the usual non-committal grunt.

Then, months later, my ears hear her saying that she told a friend at work about the picture, and had explained its meaning in a positive way! The message had gotten through! I'll never be able to get her to read the novel, but in one second—before she could look away—a picture carrying the whole message had gotten into her head in a way that she finally understood.

Dear Friends of liberty in Montana and the Triad,

I am writing this message to a few W-A-L/=MAL= and other Western loyalists to again make a special request that you soon contribute to the new =MAL= website forums.

Greg and several others have worked hard since late November to generate a Montana and Triad website that would not be easily hacked, be very easy to use, and would be reflective of our members and their interests.

It would be nice if some of you could post an article or two (or just make comments) on the forum. Please feel free to suggest other topics for the forum.

It has been my experience that new websites need to be used often and soon after they are launched, or user activity remains low.

Be sure to ask Greg or me if you have any questions or suggestions. We are working to get the old Free West date transferred to =MAL=.

Make a special effort to invite others that may be interested to look at the =MAL= website and to participate in the forums, etc.

Thanks and Diiawakaawik,

Ben Irvin
