Denver coyotes

Re: "Yet Another Letter from A.X. Perez"

It has been pointed out to me that shooting coyotes roaming through town indiscriminately (see Denver News. Last TLE) is illegal.

Fine, reserve using gunpowder weapons to kill coyotes for when they are attacking you, your family, or your pets.

Of course, someone might point out that the point is to chase coyotes away before things get that bad. If along the way we can bug the statists and Mrs. Grundys of the world more the better. This goes to breaking the learned helplessness that those who would take away our freedom try foster in us. Pass these tips around, especially to your statist friends.

Coyotes are not inherently shy of humans. They respect us as predators higher up the food chain than they are. They refrain from preying on our kids and livestock because they know we will use force to protect our stuff. Conversely, they see Fluffy and little Jimmy as lunch if this fear is weakened.

Step one: continue to ask for state help. This is a cover your assets move. By doing so you can claim that you sought state help and did not receive it in a timely manner. This wastes the enemies resources when you get arrested and are found not guilty. If you contact an honest state agent you will help him earn advancement and thus block the rise of a tyrant. More likely you will be dealing with a time server and succeed in annoying him. Annoying petty tyrants is a good thing.

Step two: shoot coyotes in butt with air rifles or bb guns. This will cause them to move along. If coyotes are on your property use powerful enough air gun to kill and shoot to kill. If not just shoot to scare, as in shoot and hit non lethally.

Step three applies if you choose to listen to those who advocate throwing rocks to chase off coyotes. Remember to throw with enough force and accuracy to injure coyote(s) in question, or at least cause pain. Similarly, do not bluff charge coyotes with sticks, if you insist on using non projectile weapons to attack coyotes go for broke.

Enslavement is predation. By encouraging people to react to predation by coyotes (and other animals) with learned helplessness tyrants teach us to submit to slavery. Conversely, by resisting predation by not so cute wild animals we learn to resist being preyed on by our would be masters.

Assert your place at the top of the food chain!

Hello Ken,

In this discussion about the national debt, we have been using the phrase "repudiate the national debt". I don't really think we can do that.

"To repudiate" means to refuse to pay. Now, however unlikely this is, the government could repudiate the debt, as an act of Congress. It is a political action. But we as individuals really cannot do so. Oh, we can do everything we already do such as reducing or eliminating taxable income, refusing to send tax returns in (this is not a recommendation by the way, just one of the things done), or hiding in the hills, or hiring a good tax accountant. But those solutions apply to all money sent down the rathole, er, I mean, to government; it makes no sense to say we are only applying it to servicing the national debt, nor would it make sense to try to restrict those actions to that purpose.

We individuals cannot repudiate the debt; it is simply not in our power. We can just treat it like another rathole, and otherwise ignore it. When the day comes that people are ready (if ever) to toss off the chains of government, they will simply toss off the debt at the same time and for the same reasons. It won't be some separate process. It certainly won't be kept around while we throw off every other aspect of government, as Mr. Perez fantasizes, for some strange reason. There is not even any point in arguing about it, really.

They Wanted Obama but voted for O'bomber

As this link full of articles from the left and right show, it is clear that anyone who wanted to know what President Obama was about, the information was there.

Silver lining

President elect Obama has already begun to stimulate the economy!

His election has led to an increase in sales of guns and ammunition to people trying to beat the gun ban. this will create jobs and increase cash flow in the sporting goods industry.

Barack Obama, inadvertent promoter of gun ownership and the man who stimulated the economy by accident.

Good job!
