When I was a kid if some one said something we disagreed with we would challenge them by saying, "wanna bet?"

About 1990 Julian Simon did this to those who said we would run out of things. He won every bet.

My modest proposal:

The LP should run a full page ad in the national paper or on national TV offering to bet everything we can raise that the stimulus will fail. Every time they propose something stupid get on the air and offer to bet them on the outcome.

If we put our money where our mouths are we may never win but we can not lose.
