Letter from A.X. Perez with Reply from L. Neil Smith Hi I've recently stumbled across your magazine, and must say I've enjoyed it very much. I also recently have stumbled across The Alpha Strategy by John Pugsley, an interesting read. His premise is that Government isn't necessarily the problem any more, but rather all those who demand something from the government. Read his analogy of politicians as goats and those who demand things from them as goatherdsit's amusing. What I came away from this book is: Anyone who takes a penny of "Government money", or accepts any service from it (including licensing/regulation of competitorsand this includes the limited liability of corporations) is a thief. In order for them to have anything from the government, the government first has to steal it from others, to have it to give to them. So government is not the problem, per se. The problem is all the goddamn thieves. Jim Donaldson
In his article, "Rise!", Jim Davidson once again reached out to those in the middle of the road when he said, "Americans must do these things. It is our country, and it is our job to make it right. If you don't agree, go to Hell, and may God have mercy on your soul." You can always count on Jim to do a good job of outreach. Jim tells us that "A Nuremberg style commission must be formed to put all USA political leaders and all bureau-rats on trial." He calls for the execution of anyone found guilty of "ordering crimes against humanity" and "making war on the American people". Yeah Jim, that will be an easy sell I'm sure. Roughly half pf the population of this country gets a check from the government, depending on how you define "guilty" that will be a lot of dead bodies. If you guys get this going I think I'll get into the grave digging business, I'll be freeking rich! Of course, selling this idea could be tough. Those folks you want to kill are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters and spouses. Trying to sell their families on the idea of murdering their loved ones over what amounts to a political disagreement isn't going to be easy. Will you give them a free t-shirt at least? Scott Graves
Fixing the Economy
The bailout of Ford, GM and Chrysler didn't fix that? Imagine that!
The Bush / McCain / Obama bailout of October and November, 2008 didn't fix it? What happened? How ever could it have gone wrong?
I think it's bat-shit insane 40,000,000 people x 1,000,000 FRN ("US dollars" [1]) / person over fifty = 40,000,000,000,000 FRN That's FORTY TRILLION bucks. Obama won't have any choice but to use hyperinflation to make this excuse for a "plan" happen. Then we'll all be carrying our cash around in wheelbarrows, and the crooks will steal the wheelbarrows, leaving us the now-worthless cash. This is what happened in Germany following the 1929 Panic, i.e. "Great Depression." This is what Mugabe was (is ?) doing in Zimbabwe recently with his "trillion dollar" bills? But, hey, if you're really committed to this insanity, why not go all-out? Instead of having the federal government and the Federal Reserve print up the cash, DO IT YOURSELF! What the Fed and Bureau of Engraving and Printing should do is set up a series of servers hosting only a collection of web pages. On each of those pages are .jpg images of each demonination of Federal Reserve Note. These pages would be fully accessible, saveable and printable by the general public. This way, people could save the images to their personal hard drives at home, and using their home computers, print out as much cash as needed on demand. THINK OF THE SAVINGS! No longer will the Fed and the Government need to expend resources on printing the bills, transporting them to banks for distribution, or safeguarding them in transit. WE'LL ALL BE RICH! And to top it all off, there's no need to print all the zeroes on the billsjust use scientific notation. 10^15 and 10^18 works a whole lot better than 1,000,000,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000,000,000,000, in that there's only so much space on the physical bill and all those zeroes take up a good bit of it that could be better used for pretty artwork. Some people claim villains do more harm than idiots. Some people claim idiots do more harm than villains. Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi go out of their way to obviate this question by being both. A.X. Perez
To which L. Neil Smith replied: Evil, stupid and crazythey're a Triple Threat! L. Neil Smith lneil@netzero.com President Obama used his speech at Notre Dame University to call for fair minded debate about abortion. He admitted the right to life and mothers' choice points of view were irreconcilable then went on to state that the two sides should stop demonizing and caricaturing each other so that they could find a way to live together. Now if someone could just explain that concept to Janet Napolitano and her friends who draw up lists of right wing extremists and label those who fall in those lists as not "honest Americans" (i.e., outlaws) and potential terrorists. I said it before, I'll say it again: I'm not laying off the RWE issue until Obama calls his subordinates and appointees to task for that report. It really is hard to have a fair minded debate with people who have already demonized you and outlawed you and are in a position to turn heavily armed paramilitary cops dressed up as ninjas loose on you. If you want fair minded debate stop encouraging Federal, State, and local cops to investigate and harass people who oppose your stand on abortion, gun control, immigration, taxation, drugs, internationalism, immigration and so on. Please keep in mind that when I say stop encouraging I mean come out and actively discourage such tyranny. And when I say discourage I mean threatening them with being fired with loss of pension benefits if federal and getting investigated, arrested, and prosecuted by the few FBI Agents, deputy Federal Marshals and Federal prosecutors who still believe in the Constitution and think a major part of their job is to enforce it. Undoubtedly they are young, naive and too few (and all the rest are dead as the toast goes). They are also blessed with the energy of youth and who knows, if we set them to tilting at windmills maybe they'll winkle out and kill a few dragons. A.X. Perez
Here are three Obama-clown designs I just did. The one is a bumper
sticker, of course, while the other two are on shirts, mugs, caps,
etc. All are for sale at Zazzle.

Here we go... Constructive Possession as an excuse to kick in doors. Take a look at: [this news story] So, the BATFE raids some poor slob because somebody who doesn't like him or guns figured out that his son was a "prohibited person". and "Tipped" the ATF off. This brave anonymous tip gave the ATF all the excuse they wanted to descend on a 76 year old in a trailer house, stuff & cuff his daughter-in-law in the driveway, bust down his door, confiscate every gun not in an ATF "approved" safe (which they broke anyway) and generally act thuggish. All because the son had a conviction of check fraud 34 years agoas a teenager. This is the result of a pernicious bit of bad case law/precedent called "Constructive Possession". Basically, the Govt. says if you have "access" to something you have "possession" of it. Thus, the son, being a "prohibited person" had "access" to all of his father's guns (except the Beretta) so he was in "possession" of themin "violation" of the 1968 GCA (USC 18,922(g)). Note that the same would apply not just to awful, violent, check fraud "felons", but to any family with a Down's/Autistic kid/adult or any household with a family member or resident who had ever been "involuntarily institutionalized" for psychological/emotional issues... and it's a load of Horse Manure. My Right to own/keep firearms in my home is not dependent on who else may happen to be there. Don't Forget that the NRA-approved NICS "Improvement" compromise (HR 2640) made all of those medical records available to the NICS... where they can be cross-linked to CCW lists, hunting license records, or the "nope it don't exist" 4473 record base... Nothing to worry about... nobody gets raided by the ATF for Constructive Possession... just ask the NRA. It's not necessary to "Judge a law by the worst reading and in the hands of the worst enemies of the Second Amendment" any more. Not since Harlon Carter & Neil Knox got the boot anyway. Go Team. No RKBA for you. It's a government granted privilege dependent on the behavior (or medical condition) of every person in your house.... Bryan Potratz
