The Anatomy of Blue-State Fascism

"To compare the president to Hitler is not free speech.
It is inciting violence." This is a very common talking point these days on
the left. Google the terms and you will see the theme repeatedly. It is
considered a hate crime to compare Obama to the Nazi leader, or even to
describe more generally his agenda as fascist. Although I recall every
president I've lived under being characterized in this manner, suddenly
it is a danger to American democracy for the comparison to be uttered.
When Bush was compared to Hitler, of course the establishment right was
hysterical, too, but the left seems even more willing than the neocons
to propose outright prohibiting such political speech.

14th-16th century Italy who more or less created the Renaissance (think
of them as the original secular humanists) by underwriting various artists,
sculptors, architects, and builders like Donatello, Fra Angelico,

finished his article "The Plague" with: "If we are ever to get the vile
stench of authoritarianism out of our nostrils once and for all, we must

problem of authoritarianism is real, right now and in our faces; just like
National Socialism (NAZI-ism) was to the people of Europe in the

President Obama is calling for a longer school day and
longer school year. His argument is that we need for students to spend more
time in school to "catch up" with the rest of the world academically. A
secondary reason seems to be using the schools to provide "free" baby
sitting for a larger part of the day and longer through the year.

Secession And The Gold Standard

to establish a fractional banking system and a new national currency that

'Bye Lucy

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lucy Vodden.
Her friend Julian drew her picture and showed it to his dad John Lennon saying
"This is my friend Lucy in the sky with diamonds." John liked the image and
wrote a somewhat notorious song about the little girl. a lot of people got it
into their heads that it was about LSD, and some ugly minded people said that
this song must be censored lest it encourage young people to abuse drugs. And
a song celebrating the imagination of how children see the world was excoriated
by evil minded creeps and used as an argument to not let kids enjoy their own
music and think for themselves.
