THE CURRENT ISSUE

EDITORIAL MATTERS:

We begin with:

A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM L. NEIL SMITH

With the publication of the epilogue, "Ngus in the News", the final "chapter" of Ceres, we have ended a serialization that lasted 46 weeks, in all. My fondest hope is that my readers have enjoyed the continuing story of this pioneer family.

My second-fondest hope is that they will write to me and tell me so at lneil@netzero.com or on my blog at Big Head Press. The story will stay where it is indefinitely, but A REWARD IS IN ORDER for those who stuck with us all this time—and for everybody else, for that matter.

This weekend, at a www.bigheadpress.com/lneilsmith/?page_id=53 look for a special surprise. And stay tuned for the next project we undertake after that!

Publisher and Senior Columnist
The Libertarian Enterprise

Look for that reward Sunday evening!

I didn't watch the Snake of the Union Message. I find clowns rather disturbing—that pasty-white face, that big red nose, the funny shoes. And even more disturbing is a large room with six- or seven- hundred clowns in it. Just too creepy for me, even on television. Okay, maybe I've got a overly-sensitive stomach or something.

Be sure and check-in at Neil's new blog-thing at

"The Moratorium"

And his other blog-thing at www.bigheadpress.com/lneilsmith/

The graphical novel Phoebus Krumm by L. Neil Smith, Scott Bieser and the artist known as ~3~ is now appearing every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at:

Secession and Economic Collapse
by Russell D. Longcore
Economic collapse in the United States is inevitable. But because the dollar is currently the world's reserve currency, when the US gets sick, so will the rest of the world. Tragically, the worst of the consequences for regular people will happen here in America. Let's look at what will happen.

How Do We Reach More People?
by Roy L. Fox
Except perhaps for the few who stumble into this website by accident through some search engine hyperlink, I think it is safe to say that the regular readers of this website are part of the small minority of the population who are aware. You are aware something is drastically wrong with the world. You are aware by virtue of the fact that you have rejected mainstream media and have turned instead to the alternative media.
