Special to The Libertarian Enterprise

If you create anything of value in the United States, you'll be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The government will tax your business, and you, and the people you engage to work for you.

Or they'll simply throw you in jail, as they have Bernard von NotHaus and keep you there until you plead guilty, as they did with Walt Anderson. Bernard has been in jail for months now, awaiting a trial that the government hasn't held because they cannot prove his guilt. He was arrested over a year ago. His business was raided by the FBI in September 2007, and there still hasn't been a trial. Anderson was kept in jail for 18 months until he finally agreed to a plea bargain.

Or they'll simply have you executed without trial, without any of the protections for the accused. President Barack Obama has authorised the execution of at least one American citizen that we know about. Obama has also authorised the continuous torture of hundreds of people currently in custody of the USA government. Several dozen people have already been tortured to death by Obama's administration.

Obama has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent forth swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance. Why? Because he loves the idea of a much bigger government. He doesn't give a shit about ordinary people creating new businesses, he wants to see them suffer as much as possible.

If a worthless evil tyrant like Obama did not thrive on the suffering of other people, why would he authorise the execution of American citizens without trial? Why would he authorise the continuous torture of hundreds of individuals in custody? Why would he create all kinds of new bureau-rat agencies to harass everyone, all the time? Why would he oversee people being tortured to death? Why has he destroyed the economy? Under Obama's administration a new record has been set every month for the last 18 months for people on food stamps.

Together with his cronies in the banking industry, Obama has destroyed the housing market, overseen the foreclosure by banks which, according to one court case, don't even have proper ownership of the mortgages they are foreclosing upon, and implemented failed strategies to "refinance" loans that the banking gangsters won't refinance. Of course, he does this entirely out of malice, because he hates the American people, wants to put us all in prison camps, and torture all of us to death.

Not that his Republican opponent in the last election, John McCain, is any different. McCain is big on having everyone carry papers to be shown to any pig on the streets. He also likes a big border wall, torture, war, and militarism.

So why create anything new of value? Well, of course, you want to create things of value so you can have a decent life. So you can afford food and clothing and books to use in teaching your children. So you can enjoy some nice things. Politicians and bureau-rats hate the idea of you having any nice things, of course, which is why they continue to attack businesses and individuals at every opportunity, fining people, sending pigs to break down doors and brutalise everyone, and lead people away in handcuffs.

Despite these rather obvious signs of tyranny, there are a few things to be mildly happy about. Americans have not given up their guns. In fact, with DC vs. Heller and the decision that the Daley administration in Chicago is trying very hard to circumvent, more Americans than ever own guns. Fear of the despot Obama has also increased the acquisition of guns and ammo by Americans. And guess what? Violent crime has reached a new low level. Apparently, Robert Heinlein was right that an armed society is a polite society.

Therefore the trick becomes to create things of value and market them to others without getting caught by the parasites, bureau-rats, and pigs. Or, when you are caught, to resist them violently so that they are discouraged from further attempts to attack you. After all, if you are arrested, you'll be beaten by the pigs, tasered, tortured to death, and never brought to trial.

So you might as well take some of them with you when you go. And, who knows, an overwhelming resistance might actually overwhelm some of them.

You'll want to have some places picked out to flee to, as holding posts is very poor strategy. So get to know agorists in distant parts of the country.

As you develop your business plans, keep in mind that you don't have to use normal bank accounts, normal credit card processing, normal currency. Your banker doesn't work for you, she works for the government. So minimise what you keep in the bank. Convert your credit card orders to WebMoney or gold coins or silver bullion as fast as possible. Develop supplier relationships with people who don't work with credit cards and online banking.

The system is, of course, collapsing. It is collapsing because people don't trust mass murderers, thieves, and liars. Like Obama, for example, or McCain.

But it has enormous inertia. Expect it to last a few more years. Plan for it.

The life your preparations save may be your own.
