Many of the Most Awake Have Been Most Touched by Government

Earlier tonight I was moved to comment on a friend's post that the most awake persons I know are among those who have been most touched by government. I am reminded of this fact as my friend Bernard von NotHaus awaits sentencing on two or three counts (reports have varied) of criminal activity, including the false and absurd claim that he ever counterfeited the coins of the United States.

It used to be said, in the early 1990s in my hearing and presumably before that, amongst students of the law that "a grand jury is a tool of the prosecution." It might once have been that a grand jury was actually a group of concerned members of a community brought together to seek an actual truth. But in current times, if the prosecutor wants to conceal information from them, he does, and they are too ignorant, being mostly public schooled, to know it. If the prosecutor wants them to acquit, they will. If the prosecutor wants them to indict, they will.

Nowadays, jurors are prevented, often forcibly, with violence, from being informed that they have an ancient and legitimate right to rule that the law is unjust, as well as to consider whether the law was broken. People like George Donnelly and Julian Heicklen can attest to this fact, and to the brutality used to enforce it.

So it has become the case that a jury is now a tool of the prosecution. Federal judges lie, they prevent jurors from hearing the truth, they instruct juries falsely, and they work to serve the system which oppresses the rest of us. They are, in fact, no damned good at all. They should reasonably fear when people go to public information sources like Wikipedia and WhitePages.com and find their home addresses and phone numbers, because the work they do is evil, they hate humanity, and they serve violence rather than truth.

Many years ago my very good friend Randy Dumse came up with an idea to recruit people into the Libertarian Party. The idea was one he called "touched by government" with the very deliberate meaning that the "touching" was molestation. He suggested that local and county party affiliates get the arrest records from their local municipal and county pigs, and contact those arrested.

How? Easy. If you've ever been arrested, at all, for any reason, you have received letters from lawyers and bail bondsmen in the mail. You got those letters because your name and address was public record, and the fact of your arrest was public record. The law firms may even have paid the city or county for mailing labels with your information. You see the parasites work together to exploit you.

So if law firms and bail bondsmen can get this information, so could the Libertarian Party. Randy wrote to Steve Dasbach, then executive director (or head motherfucker in charge) of the LP, and never heard back. I suspect that Dasbach was busy being corrupted by Harry Browne, or finding new and interesting ways for a minor third party functionary to entertain himself in the Den of Crazies called DC.

It remains the case that the people most awake and aware that I know have all had run-ins with the law. They have all had their faces shoved in the ground. Some have been arrested. Some have been falsely accused. Some have been convicted on false grounds.

Judges, prosecutors, investigators, probation officers, and police officers are evil, parasitical, hateful, and violent. They hate you for your freedom, they hate you for your independence, they hate you for being able to make it in the private sector. They want your money, and civil asset forfeiture gives it to them. They want to hurt you, and their uniforms, the colour of law, and your neighbours not only permit them to hurt you, but encourage it.

Not one of them should live. But you aren't about to do anything about it.

So when you are arrested, expect to meet some of the most aware and awake people you'll ever get to know. Everyone in jail is innocent of any crime. They have all been fucked by their lawyers.

If you can help anyone who has been incarcerated get through their time in prison, please do. If you can help anyone get out of jail, or get through probation, please do. And if you represent a group that is interested in new recruits, I suggest you think about Randy's idea. Maybe the people touched worst by government are the most interesting to you.
