Amendment Three Point Five
by L. Neil Smith
It was announced quietly last week that Colorado will play host
this month to Russian soldiers and paratroopers joining American units in practicing
the suppression of "domestic terrorists"which, of course, the current regime in
Washington identifies as you and me. Among other things, they will be "taking over"
Denver International Airport. The Russians will be equipped and trained with American
weapons, which is just about the worst news that could possibly accompany this announcement.

A Brief History of the Bill of Rights
by Neale Osborn
Started in the middle of 1776, and sent for ratification to all 13
colonies by the end of 1777, the Articles of Confederation were our original agreement
to become a country- a confederation of 13 separate states that agreed to work together
to achieve their independance from England. The last state, Maryland, ratified it in
March of 1781. It was felt this was necessary in order to legitimize our revolutionary
government and allow us to enter into diplomatic relations with European countries, deal
with Indian problems, and settle territorial problems. Soon, certain of the Founding
Fathers decided our weak central government was a detriment to our continuing existance.
They didn't allow for the government to collect taxes to pay war debts, and provided for
no president or court system.

Are You Truly Free In America?
What Makes You Free? The Constitution? Or YOU?
by Frank Doosey
Give this idea some pause. A lot of my friends in the Liberty movement
often cite that they are free men because the Constitution guarantees them their rights. Sure,
it's easy enough to cite this; looking at the document itself, there are plenty of statements
in there about how certain rights "shall not be infringed", about how Congress is chained
down to certain duties and no more.

In the Final Analysis
by L. Neil Smith
America is infested with a political parasite. They're nothing really
new, these parasites. Among other things, they're directly responsible for the deaths of
620 thousand human beings in the 1860s, and for many more since then. But a swirling
current in events tends to "pull our focus", alter the context in which we see things that
we've been used to looking at for a long time.
