first marked a ballot, it has been carefully arranged so that I have nobody to vote
for. My own presidential candidate was illegally and immorally cheated out of his
chance by a system so thoroughly corrupt that it shines in the dark like a pile of
rotting fish. As Boss Tweed famously put it, "I don't give a damn who votes, as
long as I do the nominating".

force. Not that they ever went away. Whenever there is mass shooting you can rest assure
the anti-gun side will be there to dance in the blood of the victims so they can further
their own agenda. It's always during the time of tragedy when the attacks on our Second
Amendment rights are the most intense.

The Fourth Article of the Bill of Rights Series. The 3rd Amendment

This is the fourth article in the series. Remember,
neither BD nor I claim to be Constitutional scholars. Our goal with this series
is to define the Bill of Rights IN THE TERMS USED IN THE DAYS THEY WERE WRITTEN.
As we all know, words change meanings over the years. The "Gay Nineties" were
not known for homosexuality, but for good times. A "faggot" used to be a bundle
of sticks for the fire. Not anymore. So it is important to know the Amendments
as written in the terms of their day, not as the words of today
might imply. So, as in the last article, we shall first present the Amendment,
then define any words whose definitions have morphed over the years into other
meanings. Finally, we will present our "common man's viewpoint" on what it means
in relation to laws today. And as always, regular print is my contribution, italics
is BD Styers' contribution. BD shall have moderator powers here, simply by
asking. PLEASE follow the CoH, as outlined in the first comment. In this case,
BD supplied the blockquotes. Let's face it, this one is a cakewalk compared to
the rest!

the film and were disappointed. Some research into its literary background presented some
relief for our disappointment. The following film review contains "spoilers." If you have
neither read the book "The Hunger Games," nor any of its sequels, nor seen the film, you may
wish not to read the remaining paragraphs of this review. On the other hand, you might enjoy
the review more than the film.
