After sinking billions of dollars into “law-enforcement”
over the decades, what finally brought the violent crime
rate down—in double digits—was private gun ownership.

Fellow Gun Owners,

Aaron Zelman, late Founder and first Executive Director of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, referred to the National Rifle Association as "the world's oldest and largest gun control organization".

Once again, the corrupt, craven, and duplicitous leadership of the NRA is proving Aaron right, as they reportedly prepare to arrange some kind of compromise with anti-gun Senate Democrats, sacrificing even more of our unalienable, individual, civil, Constitutional, and human rights.

It will not be the first time. In the 1930s, the NRA "negotiated" away important elements of the Second Amendment—which was intended to protect America from runaway government—allowing the Roosevelt Administration to effecively ban many of the best weapons for doing that. The Senate ought to be repealing limits on military-style weapons.

More recently, the NRA leadership teamed up with the crooked Senator Thomas Dodd to impose the equally illegal 1968 Gun Control Act on Americans. Most indiviual don't know that the first draft of that act was a translation—provided at the Senator's request by the Library of Congress—of German gun laws in force during the Hitler regime.

Between those two events lie many more betrayals by the NRA, and it didn't stop after 1968. Never forget: any compromise with evil—and there can be no doubt that creatures like Harry Reid, Charles Schumer, Diane Feinstein, Patrick Leahy, and others of their ilk are evil and harbor evil intentions for the people of America—is still evil.

So, rather than beg my home state's disgusting pair of Senators to respect my right to own and carry weapons, this is what I intend to do:

Not knowing any better at the time, I've been an NRA Life Member since 1973. It cost a penniless young man a lot of money at the time, and as far as I can see, it's been an utter waste. During the same period, largely because of the NRA's shortcomings, I've also become one of the most outspoken writers on Second Amendment issues in the country.

One purpose of this message is to tell the NRA that unless they break off negotiations with victim disarmers immediately, renouncing their compromising "tactics" for good, I will have myself photographed burning my Life Membership card and distribute it as far and wide as I can.

Of course I'm one member out of millions, easily ignored, but it might start a few other members asking questions—questions the NRA doesn't dare to answer. It says here the NRA has enjoyed unprecedented numbers of new sign-ups since the recent wave of hysterical victim disarmament started. I wonder how all of those new members would feel if they understood that they had been defrauded, and that joining the NRA to fight gun control is like joining the Nazi Party to fight fascism?

Better yet, what I plan to do will encourage others to do the same: have someone photograph them burning their NRA membership cards, and post the pictures on FaceBook or anywhere else it'll do the most good. What do you suppose the left-wing "embedded" media will make of that?

As for the Senators the NRA is cheerfully wheeling and dealing our Constitutional rights away to, you might enjoy reading my plan for them, entitled "From Nuremberg to Alcatraz" in the same journal. .

We can win this if we advance, rather retreating like the cowardly NRA.
