After sinking billions of dollars into “law-enforcement”
over the decades, what finally brought the violent crime
rate down—in double digits—was private gun ownership.
TO THOSE WHO VALUE FREEDOM We have had extremely disturbing news from World Net Daily about Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, a low, contemptible lying snake of a man, unworthy of the office he occupies, a bitter enemy of freedom with utterly no regard for the solemn oath that he swore or for the history of individual liberty and self-determination behind it. The last bastion of Tammany Hall, Denver has always exuded an air of criminality in high places, unequalled by any municipality except, perhaps, New York or Chicago. Nothing changed when Hickenlooper was mayor. WND says Hickenlooper is now preparing to force through, on top of recent unconstitutional gun legislation that he pushed onto the books, a measure that would grant to the United States Secret Service _carte blanche_ to enter Colorado counties, despite sheriffs who have refused to enforce his gun laws, and brutalize and kidnap anyone they think might be violating new Presidential decrees intended to disarm the population. This possibility is fraught with danger. We have long believed Hickenlooper's master in the White House is attempting to incite a violent response, in order to foment a civil uprising he can suppress with massive numbers of troops and weaponry, a treasonous crime for which everybody involved must eventually be arrested, tried, and convicted. In the meantime, with the next election two years away, the only counter-measure that makes sense is to gather information about the Democratic members of the Colorado House and Senate. Democrats, in our long political experience, have a greater tendency toward every kind of crime and corruption than Republicans. (For the most part, the latter tend to be a bit stupid and cowardly, but less criminally- inclined, a problem to be dealt with later, when the current threat is ended.) It must be added that a contemptible handful of Republicans are participating in this crime against the people and the Constitution. The bill was sponsored in the Senate by Republican, Steve King, and supported by four other Republicans, Balmer, Crowder, Grantham, and Roberts. A House Republican, Gerou is also acting as Hickenlooper's accomplice. What the bloody hell can they be thinking? They must be accorded exactly the same treatment as we prescribe here for the Democrats. Individuals who wish to remain free in every precinct, district, and county of the state—or anyplace else in the world, for that matter—must tell us anything and everything they know about these traitors who falsely claim to represent them. We will collect this information, be it about embezzlement, infidelity, or murder, take time-proven steps tp verify and corroborate it, and then release it to the public via websites and social media which will be mirrored, for safety's sake, in several places within the state, outside the state, and perhaps overseas as well. Those we oppose are utterly ruthless and barbaric. Everything we do will be open and above-board, in full compliance with the law. We will recommend nothing outside of due process. We will expect resignations, retirements, arrests, indictments, sudden moves out of state and out of country, perhaps even suicides, until Hickenlooper's Capitol Hill snake-pit is scourged clean and he finds himself powerless—and of no further use to the Usurper he slavishly obeys. If you want freedom, now is the time to act. We will ask attorneys and professional investigators to assist us, as well. But there is no time to spare. The future, of both Colorado and America, is in your hands. L. Neil Smith, Publisher and Senior Columnist

EDITORIAL MATTERS I've been going crazy trying to get Kubuntu to display 1920 x 1080 on my wide-screen LCD monitor. It don't want to do it. For about a week there I was stuck at 640 x 480. Crazy. Anyway, welcome to issue number 714. We've been doing this since October 1995. Golly! Ken Holder
