Attribute to L. Neil Smith's The Libertarian Enterprise

Neil,

I appreciate your thoughts.

Let me set the record straight on a few points.

If Davi Barker had written on any other website than the official blog of Silver Circle, I wouldn't have cared about anything he wrote.

If I had not been an active supporter of Silver Circle—praising it openly at its Libertopia screening, praising it to Pat Heller within earshot of Pasha (their Libertopia tables were next to each other), offering Pasha waus to raise the profile of Silver Circle in concert with future Alongside Night events, I might not have felt I was being stabbed in the back.

If the attacks had been only on me, personally, and not with collateral attacks on the producers, cast, crew, and other contributing artists of two libertarian film projects, I could have not cared less.

When the attack was launched from the official Silver Circle blog and was attacking in the maximum vicious terms the professional work of established industry artists who were sustaining collateral damage because they had the bad luck to make a film with libertarians, I held Pasha personally responsible for not seeing the necessity of doing damage control for the benefit of the movement.

I hear you that we have more important fish to fry and I already am frying those fish. But actions have consequences. I will never say another positive word about Silver Circle or Pasha Roberts. He has broken solidarity. He has lost me as a supporter. He's a fink with neither movement loyalty nor professional courtesy.

And you may publish this on L.E. as my response.

J. Neil
