EDITORIAL MATTERS I see our so-called "representatives" have been getting into the "secret laws" thing again (it worked so well with Obama-care after all). We can find out what the law sez after it gets passed. Really! (Just who do these Bozos actually represent, anyway? Oh yeah, the people who have bought and paid-for them. I forgot.) Now, if I was on a jury (got summoned for one just this week, but it conflicts with various medical appointments), but if I was deciding "guilty/not-guilty" about somebody who has broken a SECRET law, I'd vote NOT-GUILTY. On the other hand, somebody said recently that there are so many Federal laws these days that everybody could be tried for breaking one. Everybody. This means you"
I think it is way past time to do something about this nonsense. This means you, too.
Got that, science fiction and fantasy fans? If you dislike the types of non-story message-fiction that has been winning the Hugo for the last few years, you are therefore racist, misogynist, and homophobic, and like bad-to-reprehensible works. (Never mind that 4 of the nominated authors on the Puppy Slates are published by Tor!) Later she issued an apology to anyone whose feelings were hurt (not an apology for calling people who disagree with her those hateful hurtful things). I don't know about y'all, but I do believe I have bought my last TOR book. Unless something is done about this outrage.
