At The Gate
by L. Neil Smith
There is an old Air Force fable my father liked to tell, possibly apocryphal, about a young Air Policeman, standing duty at the entrance to his Strategic Air Command base when a jeep came blasting through the gate. He hesitated only a moment, then fired a shot at the jeep from his 1911A1 or his M-1 Carbine. The jeep, 100 yards inside the base, slammed to a halt, then backed up to the gate. The sergeant was afraid he was in trouble for firing on the jeep. Out stepped General Curtis Lemay, later of Strategic Air Command, and ripped a stripe off of the Air Policeman's uniform. "That's for missing!" growled Gen. Lemay.

Denial
by Sean Gangol
When I first heard that there was an actual group of people who denied that The Holocaust ever happened, I couldn't comprehend how anyone could possibly deny that such an event backed by piles upon piles of evidence ever happened. I would later come to find out that most of the so-called "Holocaust Revisionists" consisted mostly of white supremacists and Nazi sympathizers, which pretty much made it crystal clear where their denial was coming from.

Belief
by A.X. Perez
American statists have begun to suggest that the Chattanooga Shooter acted on a need to overcome a sense of inadequacy. While getting ready to admit that the shooting might just constitute domestic terrorism they continue to want to deny that the shooter was acting the way he did because he was a bit of a Moslem fanatic convinced that Americans are acting unjustly in territory that should be part of a Moslem caliphate.

Alongside Night and Libertarian Movies
by J. Neil Schulman
I write this the day after the 2015 Anthem Libertarian Film Festival closed without playing the most focused, hard-core and just-released libertarian movie—the one based on my novel of the same title, the only one where the libertarian author also wrote, produced, and directed the adapted movie—my own movie, Alongside Night.

Blackout Day
a short story

by Jeff Colonnesi
"Papa & Grandma are here!" called Sara, bouncing on the couch by the front window.

"You and your brother go see if they need help with anything." Isabella responded from the kitchen. "Really," She said, turning to her husband, "why do they have to come for breakfast?"

"You know Dad won't drive during the blackout. I don't think he ever has." Bob answered, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her neck "Besides, its tradition. And I'm cooking."

"Hrumph. It would still be nice to sleep in. The blackout doesn't start till 10." she replied without heat. "Now leave me be, I have stuff to prepare before the power goes out".

Go Armed, Always
by Stewart Rhodes, Founder of Oath Keepers
Here we go again. Just as with the soldiers at Ft. Hood, these Marines died unarmed, with no chance to return fire against their killer, directly as a result of a perverse, idiotic policy that mandates that even our military warriors must go unarmed under this "Commander in Chief." This is the same "Commander in Chief" who required soldiers and Marines to be disarmed even in Iraq or Afghanistan whenever he or one of his minions (such as his Secretary of Defense) came in for a photo-op with the troops. No troops were allowed in the tent, or anywhere near them, unless first disarmed. And this is the same "Commander in Chief" who made sure Marines marching in DC had their bolts removed from their M1 Garand rifles (clearly, he doesn't trust them to be armed around him).
