It‘s because most of the other politicians
are part of the “old boys club.” They talk
big, but they won‘t change a thing.

Attribute to L. Neil Smith's The Libertarian Enterprise

Dear Ken,

For reasons I will explain below, I can't send you an article today. However, this piece from GunsAmerica.com appeared in cyberspace, and I'd like to reproduce it in TLE. By which I don't mean give readers the link (although we can do that, too, but run the entire article. As long as we run the bit at the bottom of the .327 piece, offering their wares, I think we'll be okay: we're giving them free advertising. I'm glad they mentioned our resident Wizard, Bill St. Clair.

You can run this letter as an introduction.

I'm also attaching a photo of the reason I'm not writing today. I'm picking this little Taurus up (yes, it's used) at my favorite gun-shop in the area, Jensen Arms, in Loveland, Colorado. I ordered it from a place that's also full of nice people in Colorado Springs called StopDrop&Shop I was directed there by ArmsList.com Special thanks to my old friend David Purves who got the ball rolling.

The little revolver is theoretically the same size as a S&W Model 36, or Chief's Special. It reminds me strongly of the .32 snubby Archie Goodwin drops into his jacket pocket when he's working murder cases for Nero Wolfe.

The article's URL here

Cheers,

N.

[ Alas, from their Terms and Conditions it appears we can't copy the article without permission, but we sure can link to it—Editor ]
