"Gun control is the idea that it's better to see a woman dead in an alley, strangled
with her own pantyhose, than to see her with a gun in her hand."—T.D. Melrose

The Golden Secrets of Victory
(The Feature Article)

NO MORE LESSER EVIL!
CTHULHU For President
NO MORE LESSER EVIL!

It is remarkable to me how few “older,
wiser heads” seem to understand that
Trump is greatly loved by his most
ardent advocates for exactly what
the other, politically correct,
side regards as “gaffes”.

The Golden Secrets of Victory
by L. Neil Smith
As I look back objectively on what I laughingly call my career, I can see with increasing clarity that it has consisted largely of offering my fellow libertarians advice, based, as detective Archie Goodwin (or was it Nero Wolfe?) is wont to say, on my intelligence, guided by experience … and watching them ignore it, even—or especially—when circumstances prove me right.

A Game of Nuclear Chicken
by Paul Bonneau
I grew up in fear of nuclear catastrophe. I remember standing in a school yard during the Cuban Missile Crisis, looking up at the sky, wondering if I would be able to see the missile that would come down to kill me. For many years now that fear has faded into the background. The near misses are far in the past, and the rulers had seemed to come to the conclusion that “we shouldn‘t go there”. The Soviet Union is gone. Yet, I am thinking lately that the movie Dr. Strangelove might be coming back into relevance.

The Chalkening
by Melissa Dykes
You‘re gonna think this came from The Onion, but I assure you it didn‘t. This really happened here in America. This is the level we are at. People are always talking about how they are afraid of terrorism. Or economic collapse. You know what I‘m afraid of? The younger generations of college students who have apparently been socially engineered to be complete and utter pansies who run crying to authorities any time someone disagrees with them and who beg to have everyone stripped of their First Amendment right to free speech because they apparently have the backbones of garden slugs.

Let‘s Make Work Free! Big Smile Big Smile
by Nic Leobold
It‘s fundamentally unfair that great things like a college education, Caribbean vacations, luxury sports cars and gambling in Las Vegas cost so much. Clever statists have already solved that problem (they created government jobs and corporate welfare), but so many other innocent good people have been left out of the luxury economy! I have a solution. Let‘s make work Free!

The Fall of Social Media
by Sean Gangol
For those of you who haven‘t been keeping up, the social media site known as Twitter has had financial problems due to fewer people tweeting on the network. This has led to the company losing market share and their stock is starting to plummet. This has led to many executives, including the CEO to jump off of the sinking ship. Why are fewer people tweeting you may ask. Nobody knows for certain, but the people who have inherited this mess seem to believe that it is because of internet trolls and online harassers who discourage others from expressing themselves.

Where "Liberal" and "Conservative" REALLY Come From
by L. Reichard White
Long before history was enabled by writing, like us, our pre-historic small-group ancestors lived primarily by their brains, not their brawn. Unlike other animals, they—like us—were born pretty much, as Rousseau and others put it, tabula rasa. That is, as "blank slates" with relatively few built-in instincts, drives, and other in-born behaviors. For example, while hoofed animals can walk within a few minutes of birth and run soon after, it takes us approximately three months to learn to merely crawl.
