Political Correctness—Leftist Ploy or Mental Illness?
by L. Neil Smith
In its twenty years online, this journal has never made a
definitive statement with regard to “political
correctness”, although its many individual contributors have
left little doubt as to where they stand on the issue. It should
never have been necessary. The Libertarian Enterprise is
nothing, if not a Bill of Rights publication.
Political correctness is nothing new, believe me. Back in the
1980s, thirty-six years ago, I realized that my writings would never
make it past the “Liberal” gate-keepers to win a Hugo, a
Nebula, or a John W. Campbell Award. Okay, I learned to live with
that. It”s why there”s a Prometheus Award today, for works
that make “Progressives” uncomfortable.

Fear and Loathing on Campus
by A.X. Perez
Recently this author has sent two missives describing the
delusional nature of the opposition to licensed carry of concealed
handguns in Texas. The point of this was not to point out the
desirability of getting an HCL in Texas or any other state. Rather it
was to point out the uncompromising nature of certain students‘
and professors‘ insistence that we all go “socially
naked.” This insistence has insisted on being fact free.

Notes from the Eleventh Conference of the Property and Freedom Society in Turkey, September 2016
by Sean Gabb
“We’re not going there!” said Mrs Gabb last
month, when the BBC showed footage of the military coup in
Turkey. “Oh, certainly not,” I said, playing for time.
I’ve no doubt the coup was a nuisance for many other
people beside the Gabb family. But it was a nuisance for me. A few
days before, we’d agreed our plans for the summer. A drive to
Slovakia at the end of July. Three weeks with the in-laws outside
Pezinok. Then, instead of committing ourselves to the same boring old
motorways back to Dunkirk, a new drive—Hungary, Rumania,
Bulgaria; crossing into Turkey, a few days looking round Istanbul;
then across the Bosporus into Asia Minor, and the long motorway to
Bodrum. From there, we’d strike out into the
hinterland—Hierapolis, Aphrodisias, possibly Laodicea. It would,
we agreed, be a wonderful adventure for us, and would give our
daughter an endless fund of stories to impress her friends at school.
One look at those artillery shells going off on the telly, and the
whole thing was right off the menu.

Not All Ideas are Created Equal
by Sean Gangol
In my last article “The Roadhouse Rules of Engagement”
I wrote about how you should be aggressive with your ideas without
coming off as a total jerk or a complete nutcase that should be barred
from using the internet. As I wrote in my last article, we should
start off by being nice, until you get to that point where you need to
be blunt. Usually that point comes when your opponent starts launching
ad hominin attacks against you, but that is not always the case.

The Strangest Fires Ever Told
by L. Reichard White
The extraordinary claim that fire was the ultimate cause of the
complete progressive collapse of three skyscrapers on September
11, 2001 is the flimsy foundation upon which the Police State is being
constructed. How realistic is that claim?
Ever since a B-25 hit the Empire State Building on the morning of
July 28, 1945, high-rises have been designed to withstand the impact
of airliners similar to the ones that hit the Twin Towers on 9/11.
The Empire State Building, hit on Sat. morning, was back in service in two days.

Terrorist Cop-Killing Heroes
by Nic Leobold
I’m tired of political leaders honoring authoritarian bully
cops and soldiers who go around beating up and blowing up innocent
civilians all over the world. Even here in America almost everyone
except the top 1% are prevented from enjoying true prosperity by the
Matrix grid system of total government control, the spider web tax
regime, and the total protection and subsidization of corporate and
establishment interests.

If you haven't read/voted go read What Shall I Write Next? by L. Neil Smith.
Seen on the net:
"What if there's a minimum IQ required to make libertopia work?"
What indeed!
The sayer of the saying said he'd never gotten any kind of answer from asking that question of libertarians. I find that kind of hard to believe, but there ya are.
I actually think that there is some minimum IQ to have a free society, and that explains why so many people aren't libetarians—that ol' Zero Agression Principle is just too hard to comprehend for yer average person (who's IQ runs about 90 these days I've heard). Just not smart enough to be free! Golly!
And that explains why Our Mr. Schulman is being crushed by poverty (see last issue's “Why I’m Screwed”) and why Our Mr. Smith can't find an agent. Mr. Schulman and Mr. Smith are too intelligent to live in this world. Now ain't that a whack in the head?
Past time to get off this planet!
