Here's my comment (a memo to the transition team):

I want to see America return to the rule of law, which means the law is applied to all (regardless of their “station” (a very non-American concept)).

I want to see Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, and Chelsea Manning pardoned, and restored to their status-quo ante. These people are American heroes and have broken the stranglehold of elite governance over a country that was founded on the principles of freedom and equal opportunity (not outcome).

I want true “transparency”—no lies, no deals, no backroom agreements. If you can' t do it in the light of day, it ought not be done.

I would accept a government that recognizes that there is an America that exists outside New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington DC, and that the concerns of the people who live there (and who pay much of the Cesarean tribute) are no less important than those myopic denizens of “the cities”.

I would be supportive of a government that turns to its citizens (rather than its legal advisors) for advice and validation of its policies.
