Previously I have defended Woody Allen because I don't believe the charges his never-ex-wife the actress who played the mother of Rosemary's Baby made against him and brainwashed her daughter into believing, and I have defended the director of Rosemary's Baby because the underage girl Holocaust-survivor Roman Polanski had sex with says as a grown-up that she wants the authorities to leave Roman Polanski the fuck alone.

Report on progress of Bills we want passed by the Texas State Legislature regarding weapons:
Senate Bill 16: No fee to get, renew or reissue handgun carry
license:

long or shorter.

Each of these bills lists what part(s) of Texas' existing criminal code it is changing. The form is: Section A: Section W and X of the Texas Penal code will be amended so that…. eventually thy get around to saying whatever it is they mean to say, for example ban on "illegal knives" repealed.
Each bill is about where it ought to be in its progress to passage. However, express your support if you can. Committees can become graveyards of Bills, especially if Legislators don't feel their re- election depends on getting these bills passed.
We want Constitutional carry more than we want no fee license but we want both. While arguably we want some documented minimum standards of gun handling knowledge and skill on the part of people going heeled, there is always the risk that belonging to the right political faction or social class will become a condition of getting a license, It might even be a tacit or even double top secret condition. On the other hand A Texas HCL will keep you out of trouble when carrying out of state.
