The left regards [individualism] as a kind of
stubborn perversion, which they ignorantly
and twistedly confuse with racism or elitism

This has something to offend everyone. Read it to the end before responding please.

Ending DACA is the crummiest stunt President Trump has pulled. It strikes at people who have been raised in the US since childhood and a large minority if not majority of them to think of themselves as Americans. The vast majority of them have proved themselves to be people we want to eventually become citizens by their hard work, scholarship, and effort to meet requirements under DACA to stay in the US. Dumping DACA creates cruel suffering.

President Trump was also absolutely right to rescind DACA. President Obama did in fact exceed his authority by implementing the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program as an executive order. President Trump should have rescinded it. Then he very correctly called on Congress to essentially pass legislation restoring DACA if that is what is best for the US.

I think Congress should restore DACA. As Ive said above, the people affected were raised as Americans, think like Americans, and think of themselves as Americans. Those who qualify are likely to be the type of people that would make good citizens. You may think or feel differently. Good on you. Let us agree to disagree and move on to the next point.

It is Congresss, not the Presidents job to create programs like DACA and otherwise regulate immigration. Instead, since the Bush Administration the Congress has refused to pass immigration reform. Liberals and Conservatives have postured and bellowed, and then done nothing. Finally in June of 2012President Obama spoke, pronouncing DACA as an executive order because Congress would not carry out their responsibility. Congress could have passed legislation to support this program and make it their own. they could have passed legislation to overturn DACA. Instead they did not a damn thing.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good. This is the very first complaint against George III in the list of charges in the Declaration of Independences explaining why he was a tyrant and that we were justified in rebelling against him and forming our own nation. I submit to your consideration that by their collective feckless behavior in failing to pass Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good, our Congress have become tyrants.

Pass DACA, or come out and say no, its bad for our country and let it go away. And while your at it get rid of Obamacare, or admit its the best they can do. But stop turning your job over to the President because you lack the hormonal balance to accept responsibility.

Before whoever succeeds Trump forces you to accept his horse as a member of the Senate.

Was that worth reading?
