Number 955, January 7, 2018

The productive class is expected to show
up at work, keep its mouth shut, accept
what it’s told, and tolerate being
herded, milked and slaughtered by a parasitic
overclass and its freelance symbiotes.

The weather up here in the Arizona mountains has finally started to look like winter. The last couple of months have been really Globular Warmed, with a high getting up to 70 sometimes—the lows at night did go down into the teens a lot, but not always. Globular Warming, that must be it&hellip oooooh look at the pretty snow on the East coast! Globular Warmed?

I used to live in Oregon. It rained too much so I moved somewhere else. Now I live in Arizona. Dry. Blue sky. Me like.

But what I was trying to say, it was kinda freeky moving from Texas where ya pumped yer own gas to Oregon, where you could not. Took a while to get used to. Now they up and passed a law so you can pump your own gass—in the country at least—and lots of Oregon living people do not know how. Har!

See funny things they say about it here.

There is a built-in hardware flaw in many to most computer cpu chips. Good info at How Will the Meltdown and Spectre Flaws Affect My PC? by Chris Hoffman at How-To Geek. I was pleased to hear that AMD chips do not have the “Meltdown” flaw since my computers all have AMD chips. Still have “Spectre” though. Various OS makers have fixes, but they will slow down you machine a bit. But then running an anti-virus will slow down your machine a bit and we all run an anti-virus, right? There are viruses and malware for Mac and Linux now after all.

The best solution? Everybody buy a new computer after the chips get fixed. It sounds almost like they did it on purpose. Hummmm… Okay, they were trying to make the things as fast as possible. So it goes!

Was that worth reading?
