Look What’s Sticking to Our Shoes
by L. Neil Smith
I have, I confess, been out of the Libertarian
Party loop for some years, ever since the Party leadership, in its
miserable and pathetic lack of wisdom, abandoned the Zero Aggression
Principle, wadded up the radically pro-freedom Party platform that I
helped to write, and used it for toilet-paper. When they nominated
fascist drug-warrior Bob Barr for President, and later on, that pair
of uneducated political hacks Gary Johnson and William Weld, I found
somebody else to vote for, bringing my 44-year loyalty to the LP to a close.

At night, sometimes they even crawl out and shoot their owners
by Vin Suprynowicz
If it was built more than 50 years ago, and
especially if it has a gym or “field house”—even if
it’s been padlocked so long only the old-timers recall—there’s
a good chance an American high school near you has a rifle range in the basement.

Bitcoin vs. History
by Jim Davidson
With Bitcoin having broken $19,000 per coin—and
fluctuating
like the Prez in a negotiation—it and the many other
cryptocurrencies built on block-chain technology are a real phenom.
Will they last in any form? Either way, it will be interesting to watch—
because crypto currencies challenge the very foundations of the
government-banker axis. They challenge banker ability to create and
control the money supply and, for those who use them, truly
anonymous crypto—which excludes Bitcoin itself—makes
taxation truly voluntary.

Promoting Professional Victimhood
by Sean Gangol
One of the patterns that I noticed with SJW’s is that
whenever they experience any backlash from their attacks on those
they deem to be offensive, they act like they are the ones being
persecuted. A perfect example of this was Social Justice activist,
Suey Park who was featured on an episode of The Internet Ruined My
Life, a series featured on the Sy-Fy Channel

To the Sinners in Power
by Jim Davidson
Those in power have been using their power abusively, corruptly,
to commit sins, to commit evil. The litany of their evils would
take thousands of pages and generations of scribes to write down.
The general categories of their sins are: idolatry, murder,
rape, theft, extortion, false testimony, adultery, war for profit,
slavery for profit, false dealings in market exchanges, false weights
and standards, refusal to limit their power, and destruction of
innocence. Those who do so wickedly are not going to reform,
and will die in their iniquity. Those who are righteous will
receive this warning and sin not, and be redeemed.

Is the Federal Reserve Embezzling??
by Olde Reb
Are the Wall Street beneficiaries of Stephen
Mnuchin’s (Trump’s) Tax Plan, with humongous increases in National
Debt similar to programs Goldman Sachs has used for decades to
impoverish nations in a race to inequality, clearly visible to you?
Have you ever wondered how the New York banks have been so successful
that they can give million dollar bonuses and buy interlocking
director control of Fortune 500 companies?

The 50 Dollar & Up Underground House Book by Mike Ohler: a book review
by Jeff Fullerton
Robert A. Heinlein, the great master and visionary of 20th Century SF
included the designing of a building among the laundry list of skills
that make for a well rounded and successful human. It is also the
solution to one of our worst social problems—the issue of
affordable housing are so simple that too often gets passed over or
even systematically marginalized in the arena of politics and public
opinion. I just had another refresher lesson in that regard recently
when prompted by a series of personal challenges and concerns about
the state of the Nation and the world to dust off the copy of Mike
Ohler‘s: The $50 and Up Underground House Book that came
with a video cassette version narrated by the author; which I picked
up in the early 1990s.
