School Daze
In El Paso County, Texas the 3018-2019 school year has already begun in at least one of our local districts. Depending on the district involved, it may last until 7 June. For those of you who do not home school your kids there are some important things to remember.
Your child is his own best teacher. Encourage him to learn on his own from reading books, magazines, surfing the net, observing the real world and listening to people. Teach him to ask questions by asking him questions. Recognize and encourage his independent thinking, even when he’s rediscovering the wheel.
Remember to teach him what you believe. Otherwise don’t complain about the schools propagandizing him
Do not trust the schools to teach him to be free or value liberty. That’s your job.
